      Smile Ciao600's Workbook

Hi! I'm Davide and I'm 14, almost 15. I come from Italy. I began to discover the world of Lucid Dream (lucid dream or lucid dreaming?) last week. I decise to register in an' Italian forum and in this (also to learn English).
When I started I coludn't remembr the dream and I began to use the MILD technique and the Dream Journal technique. Now I can remember some dream (sometimes two) and I also have a Lucid Dream!
I hope to lucid dreaming very well!
      Bye

PS: when I will have time I'm posting my dreams

PS: if I err to write something can you say it to me? Thank you!

      Welcome to DILD class, Davide!

Dream journal definitelly helps you remembering your dreams. If you think about your dreams and dreaming, when you write them down, your mind can see that and it will understand, that your dreams are important to you. It will help you remember them and to get lucid dreams.

Congreats on your lucid  You can post it in your Dream journal here on Dreamviews. It's from Dream Journal button on top navigation bar, and then big blue "Create DJ entry" on the right side. That way everybody can read and comment on it.

Here is Collection of techniques for DILD. You can read it and then post your questions about it or about your technique, or what would you like help with.

Your english is good, I have no problem understanding you. Happy dreams

I'm beginning to use an alarm to do a reality check every 15 minutes but now I've got an other promblem: it's from 3 days that I can't remember the dreams. I always repeat the mantra "I will wake up ad I will remember the dream"! Until 4 days ago I could remember some dream but now I can't!
Can anyone help me to resolve this problem? Thank you

PS: before I discover the world of Lucid Dream I couldn't remember any dream. I began to remember the dream only 1 week and half ago.

There are not many advices in my opinion: you are at the beginning, and so you it's normal if sometimes you don't remember dreams. The only important thing is that you haven't to go on thinking sentenceses such as "i'm not able", because in the end lucid dreaming and all that's linked to is an issue of sureness. If you are sure you'll remember dreams or you'll have lucid dreams, it'll happen, trust me.
The 9 ld in my counter has been almost all really near one with the other because i was sure of them, then I stopped a little because my interest fell down (but it will raise soon!). Well, i also had other moments of lucidity, but i won't add them to my counter.
By the way i'm not a master of course, so maybe someone could give you better informations.

Thank you very much for the encouragement. I haven't intention to stop this wonderful path. I expect to begin to have Lucid Dream before the summer, at that moment I will to improve me. There is all time I need! Bye!

      Sorry for my late reply.

Here is what you can do to improve your recall:

It helps to think about your dreams, about how much you like them and even talk to your higher self about that, ask for some dreams.

You need to write in your dream journal every day. Even if all you remember is one word or feeling.

If you don't remember anything at all, write "my memory is great and dream recall is getting better every day". Think positively, as if it was already true. If you believe in it, it will happen.

We all wake up at night several times, each time after the REM is over. We just don't really remember that. Just turn to the other side and continue sleeping. But if you think about it, you will start noticing it and that is a great time to get up and write down your dream.

If you wake up too long after the dream ended, you may not remember it.

What I do, is, I drink a little bit of water before bed. That wakes me up in 2-4 hrs to go to the restroom. Most of the time when that happens I remember a dream. I have a paper in pen in bathroom and I write down my dream, or at least a lots of words. Then I have another small drink of water to wake up again in a few hours.

In the morning, I write those dreams in a dream journal.

Don't worry for the late reply!
Today I woke up at 5.45 because before the bed I drank a glass and half of water. I remembered a flash of a dream. I tryed to understand what I did before and I remembered another 4-5 flash (what's the plural of flash?). I got also a flash of a second dream. Thank you for the advices! Bye!

Thank you! Now, I use the meditation summary and the mantra. Unfortunately today I didn't remember any dream, only a flash in which I enter in my car!
I'm sad because first week I remembered many dream but now nothing and I don't know why.

See, yesterday I remembered 3 long dreams, and today, I know I had a dream, but can not recall anything. When I woke up, I remembered maybe just one word and that i didn't have a very good feeling from the dream, but that's all.

So don't worry about that. Maybe you have something on your mind, some problem, maybe you went to bed later, or woke up earlier.

If we don't wake up withing 5 min of the dream ending, we forget the dream and there is not much we can do about it. So often it's a matter of timing - noticing when you wake up after a dream and write it down without delay.

I always go to bed at 9.30-10.00 and I wake up at 6.55 am.
In these days I note I get up 30 minutes before the allarm ring. Why? Maybe I have to go to bed 30 minutes late?

We have an internal clock, that can wake us up at the time we want to wake up. Were you maybe thinking that you wanna wake up 30 min earlier? Or you got used to alarm, so you know you will be waking up soon and your mind wakes you up because of that. It's also possible, that you had enough sleep.

When you wake up, do you remember a dream? It could be an end of that sleep cycle that ends with REM.

You could use the waking up for a DEILD or WILD, or even DILD, if you just fall back asleep.

It's from 3 days I restarted to remember the dream though I can't rememember than before. I don't want to use lucid dream technique because now I want to concentrate about dream recall. When I will have a good dream recall I'm starting to use MILD and DEILD technique
