Were you in control? You tell us, you were the one who dreamed it. For the sole reason that you're asking the question, I believe you weren't in control, but only you will know. |

I had a dream last night about a massive conspiracy. I am not sure what they were hiding but I was trying to find out. There was a part where I found something on a public trail that was extremely suspicious like a little black technological thing. A man and his son came over to me and explained it was a basketball hoop and the man was able to almost change the device into a basketball hoop. I then said, "There is no way that's a basketball hoop and that is not yours it was on public property." There were no police officers in sight but I managed to summon one I think because I looked down the trail and there was no one and all of the sudden he was just there because I wanted him there. The police officer agreed with me and then the man pulled out a small pistol and tried to kill me. Me and the police officer forced the gun away from my face and then the man pulled the trigger and shot himself accidentally I think. |

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
Like Clyde machine said, lucid dream is when you know you are dreaming... |

I think he/she was non-lucid and not in control, they were doing as the plot directed them to. I'm pretty sure they weren't asking if they were lucid, but I didn't understand the question enough to say that they weren't, so I figured I'd |

Ok I am still trying to figure out this lucid thing thank you for the help. I now know that it is easier to be lucid if I am leaning against something, for some reason I definitely can do it that way. In this dream that I had it was not lucid I can tell that now and I was not leaning on an object. |

That's exactly what happened to me back when I was trying the WILD technique; I'd get to the transition but kept thinking about how I could still feel my physical body, which made me come back out of the dream. It takes practice to avoid, but it sounds like you've got things figured out. |
