many sources suggest:
-rubbing your hands together, or anything else to absorb your sense into the dream
-remaining calm
-already having chosen a lucid task ahead of time
-spinning (to enter a new scene and stay in dream)
-and do a RC when you awaken, as it may often be a false awakening
i am not a pro, but your first two lucid dreams were ten minutes?! i'd say that's pretty awesome. my longest has been maybe 3 minutes, and most beginner's seem to last only seconds.
and you "tried to WTBT" but it "dint work?"
you tried once? twice? WBTB is a supplement to any other techniques you find (such as MILD, WILD etc), not a technique in and of itself. even if you are a talented natural dreamer these are things you must make a practice of and try many, many times to gain consistency.
