I have an entire universe I go to when I dream. |

I am an aspiring writer who loves to worldbuild. Anyone else here have a second "Earth" they go to when they gain control or are WILDing? I had breakfast the other morning in a castle on top of a tower that was facing the sunrise. I was eating fruit that I had created, along with some of the deliacies of the area. They tasted delicious. One of my greatest achievements, I think anyway, in a dreamscape. |

I have an entire universe I go to when I dream. |
I have not yet gotten to that point yet. Maybe someday. |
Do you have to keep consciously trying to create the world every time you enter your dreams? Or does it get significantly easier over time. Like to the point where you don't have to keep thinking about what's in your surroundings? |
How cool. |
I work more on the details of an area, so I have a small planet about the third of the size of earth. The taste of things, the culture of the people, the way the buildings are. And I no longer have trouble with the edges fading, I have never had things simply change when I turn away from them, mostly because I don't see the dreamscape primarily with my eyes. I see the dreamscape through auras so I does not matter where I am looking as long as I dont lose the aura. |
At any rate, it is a form of modeling. You model starting from objects in reality. I model starting with objects of the mind. |

Sorry I just wok up, can I have Examples? |
Sure, Language and Experience. Internet Archive. |
Meaning the difference between an apple and an idea? I personaly do not believe in originality, everything is simply a mashup of something/s else. |
I do not have a sound system for my computer. |
download the pdf. same page. The audio books are for those who have no time to read. |
Ah, I see any particular passage? |
No, there is an idea there as a whole. That is just a practice piece. |
Wait, your planet is based off of earth? Why not do it based on your own dreams? After all, you are in the world of the mind, and if you make everything based on that, then it will be easier to progress/learn/experiment/etc. Or so I think, anyway. |
The first principles of ideas. The elements. |
Ok, thanks. Hopefully more people start building their worlds based on that. |
It is not based off of earth any more than usual. I have completely different species of fruit, vegetables, plants, animals, humanoids. It started as a planet for a story I was writing so the physics are the same. That doesn't matter so much, I tend not to obey the physics of where ever I am just because it is easier and more fun. And as for making things easier to control, I generally have no problems taking control of the dreamscape and going to my own places, creating my own places. I create what I wish to. |
No, not making anything easier to control, but to learn through your dreams. Like... studying for a test, or practicing an skill or knowledge you have from the waking world in the dreaming one. |
"For it is impossible for any one to believe the same thing to be and not to |
Um, was that directed at me? Because I sure didn't post anything related to something being and not being <.< |
I used my dreamscape to teach the Creatress' daughter how to speak spanish. The problem is that I believe at the core of it, you can only learn more about yourself and what you think of things within the dreamscape of your own head. Also, the problem of I cannot dissect gravity because it does not follow physical reality's rules. |
Oh well, your world is different from mine then. |
