The concentration that I'm referring to is the type that disciplines the mind to a point where you can be free of thoughts for 10, 20 minutes at a time, a complete void of thought, I.E. the goal of meditation. |

Dream control's more about "knowing" something will happen, and having confidence that it will happen. However, it's also good to be focused on what you're trying to do in the dream, without distraction or being bothered by other DCs (and whatever else there may be). My guess is that it will definitely have some positive effect. Like Zebrah pointed out, it could also help you keep your lucidity. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I guess that the results are pretty obvious. I'm curious whether it would help me WILD |

Clearing your mind is one of the most important things in my opinion, when you are doing a WILD or WBTB. Since I started using the 'void' of meditation I went from one lucid to six in about a week. |
