      Lucid abilities question

So you know how you'll have a dream and you'll hear a song playing and the lyrics are spot on even though you dont know them all in real life. Well I was thinking, and was wondering if you become lucid, can you do the same thing while conscious in a dream? Say you want to reenact a movie, can you use your subconscious to help you remember the lines or be able to just know the lines from the movie? I believe that once you become lucid, your knowledge will be the same as if you were conscious in real life. But I believ that maybe you can summon a giant screen that has all the movie lines on it. So basically you would ask your subconscious to remember the lines to the movie, and then have them appear on a screen to read. So in conclusion, I believe that while lucid, you have the same knowledge as your real life, but can ask your subconscious for help to remember things you can't possibly remember and only your subconscious can. Any thoughts on the topic?

K, thanks. I figured it knows a shit ton more than I do. So do you think it will remember lyrics or movie lines that I dont really remember. So say I want to sing a song in front of thousands of people, can I tell my subconscious to put the lyrics on a giant screen for me to read off of. Like a song I dont know too well, but can remember a little bit. I know it can do it, because when I was in SP one time, I heard almost an entire Metallica song and I knew the lyrics were right because I had heard the song many times. I didnt know all the lyrics, but I knew it was right though. Its like how you'll try to sing a song while its not playing, and you can't remember the lyrics. But when you hear the song, you immediately can sing along with it.

When you say make it pop in your head, I feel like that wont work. My theory is, if you dont know the lyrics in real life, then you won't be able to do it in a lucid, because your also awake and conscious. That's why id ask my subconscious to put it on a screen. I feel like the only reason you might know the lyrics to a song in a non lucid dream, is because your subconscious is basically controlling everything and your not conscious like in a lucid. You see what im trying to say. So trying to make the song just pop into my head in a Lucid would probably be the same as saying that in real life. But I guess it could be possibly because you are in your mind lol.

It depends a little. If you've seen a movie once when you were a kid and you barely remember it, then i dont think its possible. The lyrics of the metallica song were probably right because you heard it a lot. But your subconcious can in fact recall things your concious can not. The trick is to find out whether your subconcious is telling you something or your brain is making something up because it does not know.

Yea that's very true. But you'll be surprised all the stuff your subconscious remembers.
