Haha no I'm kinda like you, I've done other things to control the situation and never actually thought of resorting to killing. I did operate on an awake DC once without anesthesia, but that was a different story. |

So last night I was being attacked by this huge guy during one of my lucids and i tried to kill him. I haven't really ever done this before in any dreams. I normally use telekinesis to toss them away or knock them out. This time for some reason I decided to try something new. I pointed my fingers at him like they were guns and made a shooting motion. I did shoot bullets out of my fingers and they hit the guy, but he looked down at himself where he was shot, looked back up at me, smiled and kept coming even though I had put 6 or 7 bullets in him. I then proceeded to use telekinesis and toss him as far as I could. I was just wondering if anything like this had happened to anyone else. I mean not being able to put down an evil DC. |

Everything requires your attention to exist in dreams, so when you fight one, you need to focus your attention on it in order to fight. That focused attention can keep them alive when they shouldn't be. Bet way to get rid of a DC is to ignore it, but when I'm feeling the urge to put the hurt on some DCs I'll kill them then forget about them. Maybe a stab in the throat then I move on. Don't let your attention linger. |

If you want to kill it, you need to be sure that you can kill it. Once you are sure, one strike will be enough. |

Sounds good |

Nah he was a huge bald guy. 6'6 ish and just an angry. Kinda came at me in a boxing stance type of shuffle. I'm not exactly sure what he was there for. I hadn't interacted with him. He just came at me menacingly. I'm hoping to not have it happen again but I was wondering just in case it did. |

There was this one time where the Grim Reaper was after me and I wasn't able to destroy him. |

Sometimes, even if you think you're sure it's dead consciously, on a deeper level you will expect it to be alive. If a dream figure you don't want in your dream is there, actually ask it what it represents or what it's there for. Then kill it if you want lol. This way, you can move on, knowing that any subconscious issues are resolved. Seriously, I would recommend Robert Waggoner's "Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the inner self". It explains a lot of the deeper questions that people are asking on this forum and I think it is a must for any LD'er really. |
