Continuing Dreams

Last night I was attempting to continue a dream from the previous night (NLD), which ended at my house. Decided I wanted to go to the US to find someone, and i planned how the dream would go and how I'd get there. Then when I drempt, I was already in the US! but i wasn't lucid (or didnt do anything I had planned to do. But I'm still kind of viewing that as half success lol. ANyway I'm just interested into whether anyone has been able to "continue" a dream from the previous night? Or maybe wake up while dreaming and then sleeping and going back to the same dream?

ive done dream re-entry a few times after ive waken up from a lucid i just liad still and thought of the dream while i fell asleep then when i was back in the same dream i realised i was dreaming strait away. that night i linked about 5 lucids in a row.
