Is this considered controlling my dream

First off would this even be considered a lucid dream. i think so since I know I'm dreaming.

Is this considered controlling my dream even in a slight way. I'll be dreaming and I can feel myself going out of a deep sleep and I can keep myself from waking up. I keep myself just at a slight sleep level. Then I tell myself not too wake up, but I can tell myself to wake up.

Also if i think about the dream and go right back to sleep I can pick up where I left off and prolong the dream.

Is this a way of controlling the dream?
