It seems like the most interesting things happen when you give up your control and just let the dream take hold, trying not to exert any effort on your part except for trying to meditate and be still. I have talked to DCs in my dreams after experiencing this, and they refer to it as "our true potential" and other such phrases as that.

It always starts with flying/floating in the air, yet you do nothing to actually try and control where your going. You'll start off slow, but pick up speed exponentially and you give up more control. Eventually (as has been my experience in the 5 or so times I've actually succeeded, not counting the other numerous attempts), there will be a "popping" sensation, not only do you hear it but you can almost feel it, and then bam your in. It feels almost like lucid dreaming to the next level.

The first time I was greeted with a huge array of kaleidoscopic hallucinations that I was traveling through in 3D. I heard a voice that said "Okay now don't think", but at that got nervous, fell outta the dream and heard "See I told you". Another time I started speeding through this factory like setting. I would turn every which was and increasingly pick up speed, although I was not controlling anything, I was just kinda along for the ride. Eventually I ran into a solid wall, heard and felt the popping sensation and bam I was in again. Loud techno music starting blaring, and I was surrounded in this dome like structure with millions of tiny purple squares. I was floating away from them and they were getting smaller and smaller, and it became incredibly difficult to just "let go" and I ended up waking up, or going straight into another dream rather. My dad gave me a hug and said "Sorry, looks like you don't have what it takes to be a stoner", whatever that means. Jokes perhaps? It just really makes me wonder what's on the other side of all this, if one can somehow figure out how to relax completely what would the dream show them? It almost feels akin to breaking through the "illusion" of a dream, becoming a lot more lucid, but then being granted with another dream in which you try to break free from, although a lot more intense. I wonder how deep these layers can go?

And then to wrap it up I had one just about an hour ago. Decided to try my luck at it again mid dream and started floating down this city. Eventually I passed through this bridge and my point of view completely shifted to pan around under the dream, signalling to me that I finally gave up my control. Then bam, the same popping sensation and the scene completely changed. I now felt like I was watching this scene from some huge plasma screen, although I felt a very intense sensation of falling, more so than with normal dream flight, although I do feel that as well. This time I was granted with a scene of a dog skydiving with a parachute on his back, accompanied by silly music in the background (lol).

It's also very weird, I remember having these dreams before too. They're pretty intense, it's not like you'd just forget skydiving with a dog ya know. Most of my dreams I've been having for the past month I either remember having the same dream while actually in the dream, or remember having a similar dream afterwards when I'm writing it down. Not only in my dreams too, but in waking life recently I'm starting to get some crazy deja vu moments that I'm more than certain of, like a definite feeling of I know I've done this before.

It all just really confuses me and I'm tired of endlessly thinking about it by myself. Any ideas, similar experiences? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
