      If you are lucid, then ask loud to the dream what does the sun getting closer represents... the answer could help you to deal with the fear. I've done this with a recurrent situation in LD, when I asked what does it represented, the answer was very clear and I've never dealt with it anymore. Usually all fears are kind of translated into symbolic things, it's the subconscious language.

      Or it is just randomness at first that fear drew into the lucid schema for you.
