I've tried this before. You still have to use a bit of will power to get what you want. It helps to use your imagination in conjunction with the commands. |

I've been getting better at lucid dreaming, (as in, I have been having more,) and I have devised a plan to make dream control easier for myself and possibly others! Spare me as I have yet to actually attempt this. |

Thanks for the response! You have a point, though. I know I will need to expect it without a doubt, so thanks for the advice! |

That sounds like a good way to take advantage of dream schemata (the units of knowledge you've accumulated over your life) that your dreams operate from. You're essentially taking something you know (like Minecraft) and metaphorically mapping it onto your dream environment, so to speak. I seem to remember reading a post somewhere that talked about this. |

Exactly! Or say you want to get some food in a dream, pretend you're ordering it online! Dream Schema's are a great way to take advantage of these things! |

I sometimes have access to a keyboard and mouse in my dreams. For example, I might be shooting at some enemies and get hit, then without looking I just feel my keyboard and press a button to heal. |

I've tried this technique a few times this morning with very good results. I just asked my dream, out loud or thinking it, 'dream, I want to fly higher!' or 'dream, I want angel wings!' and it worked amazingly <3 |

I've used a similar technique before. It's called "reframing". This is when you use a mental framework that takes you away from believing the rules of the waking world still apply. Some examples include seeing the dream as a movie, video game, or virtual reality simulator. |
