      I had a great idea when I was watching a bird: has anybody ever transfigured themselves into another animal or creature in a dream?

      No, not yet. But GOD do I want to try that so freaking bad. I've heard of quite a few people that have, though.

      In one of my early childhood lucids I was able to turn myself into a pig. Like the pig in babe. I was so pimp. This wolf started chasing me but I was a fast little skinny pig so I ended up just running away. It was fun but I doubt I'd be able to do it now.

      I've grown an extra set of arms, but I couldn't control them. That's the extent to which I have transfigured into anything. I just can't get passed the mental block of just being myself and nothing else. I've also made myself more muscular But that's not really transformation. Just altering.

      Once I was being chased by a polar bear, and changed myself into a tiger, it felt amazing, the bear frightened the cr@p out of me though, so I jumped through a fence...changing back into a human.

      In a normal dream, a scientist injected me with some sort of virus. It was supposed to slowly kill me? Hurt me? Change me? I ended up forcing the virus to work its stuff immediately; it turned me into a purple bunny.

      I like being human in lucids. Maybe I'll try being a swordtail, so I can chat with my fish! It'd also be fun to be an ant, a mouse, or a bee. They are small, and belong to a different world than us (as opposed to wolves/bears/similar-sized mammals).

      I was an Orca several times, I did that by walking into the surf and diving in. I felt streamlined like a whale, I had fins, only problem was keeping the salt water out of my mouth!
      There were other whales nearby.

      You just gave me an AWESOME idea. I'll summon The Darkness, the demonic, parasitic parasite from the graphic novels and video game. Imagine, letting loose in a D.C. filled city with carnivorous black serpent heads and spiked tentacles protruding from my back and using them as claws to drag myself through the streets quickly...
