I've had a similar problem. A few people on the forums suggested like taking a shapeshifting pill. Maybe it could work for you? |

Lately I've been trying to change who or what I am in my dreams, so just basically shapeshift, But I've been having some troubles but I really want to accommplish this feat. (It's a feat for me, may be easy as pie for others.) |

I find it best if it is done in one motion. Like for example I'll jump off a cliff and transform into a bird by the time I hit the air. I find that the problem with doing it one part at a time is that it leaves too much time to doubt and question yourself. Just what works for me though. |

I’m lying wide awake, my head spinning over you... Dark of night, no stars inside, you are dreaming next to me...afraid to close my eyes,‘cause I don’t wanna miss a moment of you...Don’t want to dream, no, no dream could be as beautiful as you are. Tell me what have I done to deserve something this beautiful...
"Wer Bin Ich" Translated Lyrics (by LaFee)
The best thing I can tell you is practice. I do a good bit of the shaministic guided meditations, and transform into animals during them, so I have no problem in the dream world. Meditate and practice, see what works for you. For the rock thing, I'd start with turning into a statue -- feeling sflesh and bone harden, etc then move up to rock. |

I don't have much experience actually shapeshifting, but I do have a lot of dreams (usually non-lucid) where I switch perspectives. Almost every dream, actually. This has included switching into the perspectives of animals such as a wolf. Maybe you could try creating/finding what you want to become and then switching into it's perspective. This might be slightly easier than trying to change yourself because you're imagining what it's like to be someone else or look through their eyes, rather than trying to convince yourself that you are something else. |

When you hear that cold wind calling,
Hold on tight to your dream."

Well, dunno if this helps, but what I do is: Focus on the part of body I want to change, then infuse it with energy and make the cells mutate into the desired form. I rarely change specie so... but I change my hands into claws, grow wings and get some fishy powers! If that counts <.< |

I was out learning to wakeboard today, so I haven't had time to check in on this, but HUGE thanks to everyone! These ideas sound so awesome! I will be sure to try them as soon as my next lucid. Hopefully they will solve my problem. Thanks again! |

Well, in my recent lucid dream I tried to change my body so I would look like someone else, complete with clothes and bla bla. But since that didn't go very well this time either, I thought of a back-up plan when I was awake. It wasn't shapeshifting really, I just created a body that looked like I wanted it to be and got "into" it... became one with it or whatever. So what I'm trying to say is that you can become something or someone else just by creating this body and possessing it afterwards. Hope it may help |
