      Help: Chocolate World

I always wanted to dream a chocolate world (or at least my house). Whenever I try it fails. I have wanted to dream this for years now and have gotten nowhere. Its the one area where I haven't improved - I can dream just about everything else I want to.
Has anyone ever dreamed a chocolate world and do you have any tips for generating such an environment?

Assuming you're fairly skilled at controlling your dreams already, I would recommend not so much "creating" a chocolate world as "finding" one instead. Walk through a door that'll take you to another dimension filled with chocolate, or if the sci-fi aspect doesn't appeal to you, close your eyes, spin, and teleport there instead.

Yeah, these are the easier methods for getting to a chocolate world. I know that the brain responds much better to passive control rather than forced control. There are other methods available to you, but the above are some of the most common and/or successful.

I always thought it would be fun to visit a universe in which negative friction exists. Instead of things slowing down over time, they just go faster and faster. That would be awesome.

At any rate, good luck! Keep us updated on your efforts.

So rather than forcing it, let it come naturally? Thanks for the tip! I will try it if I can!

There's actually a great tutorial explaining all of this.

To put in my two cents here, I'd recommend to really properly visualise this "chocolate world". Don't go into an attempt (assuming you are already lucid) to get into this world with just this vague, shadowy concept of "everything's made of chocolate". Really try to envision yourself in there, and envision how this world will look, feel and maybe even smell like. I find that when you have a clear vision of where you want to be, it's easier to get there.

Last night when I tried to get into a lucid dream I created a vivid chocolate world in my mind, much like the one on that episode of The Simpsons where homer falls into a day dream. In fact Homers dream was originally my inspiration.
Sadly I failed to accomplish lucidity and ended up just falling asleep.

Crap! I managed to LD. I made a door to the world, but it was locked! I blame myself for not being entirely lucid, it certainly wasn't my strongest LD. I should have made a key.

...You had a key, but as you took it out of your pocket you noticed it was made of chocolate, so you ate it...

Maybe imagine a chocolate door and eat your way to the other side?

I have decided I'd rather just dream about being in my local chocolatier. They do a damn good dark chocolate bar.

Just take a bite out of something in your normal dream world. Expect it to taste like chocolate, and it will. Go from there.

I tried that with a toilet roll once and it didn't work. Why I picked a toilet roll... who knows. I guess toilet roll shaped chocolate would be cool, because you could brake bits off.

Yes, I did a chocolate world dream on a bet for one of my lucid dreams. It. Was. Fucking. Amazing.

Everything tasted delicious. There was a bar with hot chocolate and it was to die for. I loved it so much that I'm going to do it again (this time the Wonka factory).

I kinda cheated though--I told a recurring DC that I wanted to do it, and so in the very beginning of one of my dreams, he basically teleported us to a chocolate town he already made. Otherwise I'd probably have tried to teleport myself to one I'd visualized, which is a technique I've had varied results with.

I may not be very experienced, but what allowed me to fly perfectly in my third LD, was KNOWING that I could. Just go to the chocolate world. Don't think "this is a LD, so I can go to a chocolate world" (That's what made me fail at everything in my first two LD's) just think "Yup, chocolate world. I'm there" Don't know if this will help at all (I am still new to this) but who knows right?

I'd like to know how chocolate tastes, never having eaten in a dream myself...

That is a GREAT way to do it! The easiest, for most people anyway
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.
