Maybe kill a few DCs, then next time they see you they might have a reason to run. And why would you run away after seeing their guns if you were lucid enough to shapeshift? For me at that stage I usually hunt for police. lol |

Trying to scare people by means of shapeshifting... Help?
Every time I turn into a werewolf or other scary creature in an LD, and I try to scare people, they end up saying things like, 'Demara, what are you doing?' or the latter. I even tried to frighten a group of policemen on my street a few nights ago, but they pulled out guns and began running towards me. I managed to crawl up a house and run away, but every time I wake up it bothers me that I can't successfully scare people.
Help is appreciated.We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Good idea, but I've tried that before. I get disturbed when I kill things, and the last time I tried that, I woke up. =/

Pulling their guns out=fear reaction. There. Now that you have evidence that it can be done, you should have more success.

It's simple. Just turn into either:
A. A zombie, and start biting people
B. A giant demonic thing, bursting from the ground and shooting lazers from your eyes.
C. An evil math teacher with a ridiculous last name(ex: Mrs. Gruntmier)
That could get anything screaming.

While in front of a group of people, detach your arm and drain blood over their face. That'll get 'em on their feet.

You need to be more assertive with your Dream Characters. Remember that they are apart of you and you are in control of them. You must not have any doubts or worries when trying to scare them, you need to be 100% certain that your in control.
This thread reminds me of something I did awhile back.
I was being approached by a ton of Dream Characters and they wouldn't leave me alone. So I morphed into a Lion and roared my ass off at them. ahah they fled so fast XD
