      Few thoughts and questions

Had my third LD (first ever since I've tried to have them) last Wednesday and of course I got too excited about being lucid and I woke up, even though I rubbed my hands together (man, they were clear and detailed!). Very happy though!

Anyway, when I woke up, I began to think I should work on my mindfulness. I've heard this kind of a method from a Buddhist monk: When you brush your teeth next time, start the brushing from a different spot where you usually start. That's all.

Is there a way to make sure I'll do the RC when my dream sign appears? In my case they are relatives (dead and living) and newest DS are characters from The Big Bang Theory, except Penny. I have sent emails (while awake) to my subconscious mind and asked to meet Penny in my dreams, but strangely I have everyone else from the show in my dreams and quite often I might add. RC seems to be my main problem overall, even though it's a mindful habbit of mine.

Also, now that I have had a LD (or third actually) and my dream recall is quite good (average 3 to 4 per night and 9 when I emailed my sub-c about it) and I keep the journal, will it get easier to have LDs?
The Dream World is calling and I think it is a collect call.

Unfortunately there is no way to guarantee you'll do an RC every single time your dreamsign appears. Even experienced LDers still miss dreamsigns sometimes. However you can greatly increase the odds of doing one by putting in the time and practice during waking hours. If you keep on with RCs during waking hours eventually you will do an RC when a dreamsign appears in a dream and you will become lucid. It make take one day, or it may take a couple of months, but it will happen.

Yes, absolutely. I have trained myself to be able to have a lucid dream on any night I choose. It took me a year to attain this ability.

As far as I'm concerned, what you call Mindfulness, what Castaneda called Not Doing, that is lucidity. Keep that up and you will start getting lucid more frequently.

Thanks for your replies! I think I'll start practicing walking meditation again to increase my mindfulness.

Funny, one of my Facebook friends had upside-down text in her status so when I saw DreamQueen's upside-down text, I had to do RC.

I am actually excited to go to sleep now that I had really good LD.
