1/6/2011 My first WILD after waking up in the night

I managed to WILD this morning by accident after all my hard work. I hadn't slept since around 1 AM after an earlier WILD attempt. Finally I got so tired I laid down to sleep. But I had a WILD instead. I remember laying down thinking, getting tired then WHAM. I'm in the dream.

This entire WILD I have trouble moving. Dream control isn't my forte I suppose.

I can't move, I'm sitting in an oversized tan chair in my living room. I try to move but my entire dream body is vibrating. I am very disoriented because I really didn't expect this.

Suddenly my little brother and his friend come running full speed, screaming. They push my chair into a wall at a very high speed. As soon as the push starts I scream, "FUCK I'M DREAMING" the excitement just overwhelmed me. This was by far my best WILD ever. My other two were short and lame.

Now I'm crashing into the wall flying into the air. I close my eyes and tell myself that when I open them I will be in a city about to get struck by lightning (task of the month) when I open my eyes I see the living room. I try again again but I feel like I'm falling. When I open my eyes I'm floating. I try to control it but I fall a couple feet and wake up.

It was interesting how sharp and clear my mind was in this dream. I kept constant awareness of my dream goals and the fact I was dreaming. I worried I might forget and fade out of lucidity. But NO, since I was fully aware there was no way that was going to happen.

I read Mzzkc's thread, Why you fail at WILDs and he helped me out. I would definitely recommend reading it.

I have the vibrating thing too! I wonder what causes that haha.
Jen was 13 years old. A fairly normal girl. She spent a lot of time online.
One day, she made a new friend. He liked the same bands, worried about the same subjects.
They decided to meet at the local mall. She went. So did he.
Only he wasn't in junior high.

Awesome!! I suspect the vibrating and not being able to move might be because your body was in SP (?) and maybe real-world signals were getting into the dream. Also, I think you might be ale to remain in a lucid longer if you don't try for too much control... that can tend to end the dream quickly. It's probably better to "go with the flow" until the dream becomes more stable. Heh, take it from somebody who always tries for different kinds of dream powers and always succeeds only in ending the lucid fast!

I once attempted telekinesis in-dream by pushing both my hands forward. I woke up right then and I shoved the girl I was with right off the bed. >_>
