I walk through a door. Perfect clarity as always as I step into our field. I walk through the tall grass a bit and am almost savoring it as if I know what's coming and maybe I do but I don't. I sit down. I'm in my usual cotton dress and then over the hill. Making my heart skip a beat comes Jareth. Barefoot and worn jeans. Blue flannel shirt and tousled black hair. Everything about him is just right. I am again finding myself savoring watching him as if I know. I feel a sadness in my heart and I am unsure why. He approaches and looks exuberant. He always walks with a sure walk. Like he knows what's next sort of thing.

Jareth: hello sweetheart, how's it been?

Me;" a little odd. I'm not what sure what to think but I know what I must do." At this point I am overwhelmed with sadness and I know what I must say. "Jareth, I know, I know you are a part of me and always have been and that's all you will ever be" I say this almost monotone

Jareth gives his usual knowing smirk but his eyes are gleaming with excitement. He walks over to me crouches down and cups my face. "I know, always have been always will be my love, and never will we be forever apart!" At this moment he stands up pulling me with him. He kisses me fiercely and as we kiss I feel a light all around me. Pulling me upward, head back arms out and Jareth is dissolving, not away but into me! I feel strength and power course through me. I slowly land back down to the ground. My heart feels like it's been pulsing so loud my ears couldn't comprehend it. I don't feel scared or even sad really. But I feel Jareth in me. I feel myself mimack his smirk. I walk away from the field. I can feel the field falling apart behind me as I walk through my door. I'm awake.
