Ooooh, how exotic ^^
Your dream comes in three parts: the dome, school and plane.
The dome part of your dream is the most interesting. I'm particularly intrigued by the fact that you were told to do something by a non-existent character. Perhaps this symbolizes you feeling as though you are forced to do something in real life which you don't want to do and that you are worried about upsetting (or perhaps angering) the party pushing you to do so - if this is the case, then your fears are unfounded as the party doesn't actually exist and the real reason you are doing it is out of obligation and perhaps a misdirected sense of duty. (If that didn't make sense, her is an example: just say you went to college as you thought and expected that's what your parents wanted of you when in fact they don't). This idea is further supported by the fact that your mission was contained within a paradise that was caged in a dome - showing, perhaps, an desire (or thought) of yours depicting duty and obligation (you helping the King and Princess). Again this idea is further supported by the fact of the enigmatic princess and her hazy memory of her face: she was the reason you were performing the King's task in the dream and the target of the King (and your) affections. This perhaps reflects real life in which you are probably feeling as though you have to do something for someone (the someone being the King in your dream and the reason and feelings you experience of doing this as being represented by the Princess - both of which are vague and hazy characters perhaps showing that if you are feeling pressured into doing something in the real world, you don't actually have to do it, as your fears and reasons for doing so are in fact groundless, almost imaginary).
This idea seems to have been carried on into the next part of the dream as you were telling your friends "you had to go" to the new school - again showing signs of duty and obligation. This part of the dream seems to suggest you carry around with you everywhere a burden or something of the sort. The phrase "carries the world on their shoulders" springs to mind when I read this part. Perhaps you feel as though you have to assume responsibility everywhere you are in life and perhaps feel compelled into pleasing others at the expense of yourself. This seems to be supported by the track you were running: a loop. A loop is a circle without end, showing something which neverends and repeats itself - the fact you were talking about duty and obligation while running around this track suggests you assume responsibility (or perhaps feel as though you have it thrust upon you) every day.
The third part of your dream seems to corroborate what I have said about the first two as generally the idea of going on a plane with friends connotes happiness, good times ahead and vacation - in other words, taking a break. This dreams seems to say you want (or need) a break and time to spend with friends and time to spend on yourself. However, in your dream, the plane explodes suggesting that you feel as though you will never get a break and a chance to have true fun. It seems as though you resent this idea - due to the violence explosions often entail. However, you and your friends survive in your dream showing that perhaps happy times are so elusive as you think. Of course, it could very well mean that you and your friends are going to experience hardships in your dream (suggesting in real life that you worry about carrying more responisibility and work).
I would say take time out for yourself: listen to music, go for a bike ride or have fun with your friends more. Set aside time for yourself in the day - and I mean for YOU - tell your friends and family that, that time is for you to spend however you want and responsibilities during that time can take a hike. I say all this because your dream seems to mean that you feel as though you are over-worked and over-stressed about it.
Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck! =D
