Interacting with deceased people in lucid dreams (recurring) what does it mean?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm new here, and I really didn't see anything on this topic. I dream about two people, continously, who have passed away. One is my grandmother, and one is a high school boyfriend who was killed in Iraq. They are always in my dreams, lucid as well as regular dreams.

I have begun to question why they show up, because there are several other people I have lost that I don't dream about. I lost a newborn baby, so she was obviously someone very close to me. I dreamed about her initially, but I haven't in years. I think about her ALL the time, so its strange that she's not in my dreams. This is all the more reason to question what exactly is going on. Its beginning to be a little unsettling, especially the last lucid dream I had. I was on what I realized later to basically be the river Styx; being guided through.. I suddenly realized I was dreaming.. so I told all the dead people who were lining the banks, "you know you're all dead!!??!!!" Then I saw my hs boyfriend, and burst into tears. It was really strange. I called his name and then I woke up! Where can I find info on this, or does anyone want to explain it to me?

I'm pretty much of a newbie too but I read up a bit here and there, so I think dreaming about deceased people probably meant that you're having guilts and regrets concerning the past relationships with those people.

In my own opinion- I beleive your subconscious may not be ready to let go, you are still holding on in some aspect. You say you think of your baby all the time, then theres not much reason for your subconscious to dream about her, but as for your grandmother and boyfriend, you might not think about them as much - consciously, though you still might hold on to them in some way, your subconscious is easing the loss by producing a mental version of them in your dreams, I hope that makes sense? I'd count yourself lucky in the sense you are still able to see/talk to them (even if they are just dream characters)- I'd love to be able to interact with my passed relatives, or even just see there face again..
