About a year ago I had a dream which I can only describe as "Devine" |
My first impression would be that you are at peace with the idea of death. |
You're right about me being at peace with death. |
Ego death. This kind of things happens all the time in heavy psychedelic experiences and, as you've said, near death experiences. Though it's very rare, I have heard of one or two other people experiencing it in a dream. I'd consider yourself very lucky, this doesn't happen to just anybody without them having to search for it first. |
I understand what you mean about the death of the ego, I think that much of what goes on in a dream is a reflection of self, so an ending of the world dream signifies a big change in ln lifestyle. I'm still puzzled as to what the light means. |

Join the club. It's kind of one of those mysteries of life, left to be decoded by your own personal experiences and feelings about it. Some people think it's God, some people think it's the link to the universal consciousness, some think it's just reaching the soul, and some think it's just your brain being overloaded. And so on, and so on. Whatever is though, it's something special. |

If it was during a normal dream it could have been the onset of lucidity. But you woke up before hand. When I lucid dream from a dream, I always have lights cover my vision, then the new dream begins after a few seconds. |
That's interesting. :O I've never entered a lucid from already in a dream that way, it just kind of becomes lucid. |
It's basicly HI while dreaming. I've had HI where I get rolling rainbows, to instant visualizations, to a solid color. But while in a dream, it is usually intense distorted colors of the rainbow. Everyone is different tho. While in the dream I usually think I'm high until lucidy sets and I realize. |
That sounds cool, very psychedelic. I've never really had any interesting HI like that, it's more just light delirious stuff or very smooth transitions into the dreams with practically no hallucinations. In dreams the change from non-lucid to lucid is most often so little that I can't even exactly pinpoint it. It's not even that I realize in-dream that it's happening, it's kind of like it just goes from me not knowing to me already having known all along. It's kind of hard to explain. |

Snapping to consciousness ehh? |
this morning i had a lucid dream in which i spinned and after that the dream faded and i felt like entering a different dream, but halfway i felt likea machine turning off ( sounds and vibrations decreasing ) and a white lighta filled the scene. i felt like i was dead and out of fear i opened my eyes. i also can relate this dream with major changes in my life.. |

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way
