Unhappy Intense feelings and speaking out loud

So I had a very odd dream last week and I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out what on earth my subconscious was on about...

The first moment I can remember is being in a basement. Not really the general idea of a basement, but more like a wine cellar. I think the best way to describe it would be similar to that room in the movie Perfume that has all those scents in jars lining the walls.

I don't normally smell anything in dreams, but I had this feeling that it was a very musty-smelling room. There was dust EVERYWHERE. It was eerily quiet in the room and everything was in a black/brown kind of tone, not much lighting at all.

I also had this strange, off feeling, like I really, REALLY was not meant to be there at all. As if I were breaking and entering and I was really not wanted in this room.

Despite this feeling I began looking around at the various jars sitting on shelves. From what I recall it was all just food. Olives particularly stood out to me for some reason.

As I was browsing the shelves, the door (which was to the right of the shelves, level with the floor) creaked open and I froze. A woman walked into the room. Pretty in a plain sort of way, she had brown hair, tied back and was wearing a very plain brown woolen dress under a dirty white apron.

She saw me standing there and gasped, her face a mix of surprise and horror. It was at this moment that I felt like I was not myself, I mean I felt like another person watching from afar, only I was still in my original position, it was like I was seeing through someone (or something) else's eyes and I felt a flutter of panic in my chest for this woman.

I calmly said "Get out." but she just stood there staring at me. In a rising panic I began swaying from side to side saying "Get out. Get out! GET OUT!" and she ran from the room.

A sense of urgency came over me and I began grabbing jars off the shelves. Moments later the woman came back in holding a knotted length of wood that looked like a handmade walking cane (She was going to attack me with it I guess?) and something in me just snapped.

I had this almost overwhelming urge to tear this woman apart with my hands and teeth, and I just started laughing manically. I mean, really giddy, insane laughter.

The look on her face was just this.. pure terror. That look is the most vivid thing I can remember about the entire dream. Then I growled, in this thick, guttural voice. "GET. OUT."

The thing is, I had actually growled/slurred the words get out, out loud into my pillow and it woke me up. I've never spoken in my sleep (that I am aware of) so it kind of freaked me out a little.

Other background info I guess: I'm 21, work in hardware, just started a long distance relationship. Can't really think of anything going on in my life at the moment that would have any relevance to this dream which is why I'm so confused.

I've tried to remember any small details that I picked up in the dream but it's been over a week so they might be a little hazy. I tried to include the things I felt and also the colours in the dream as last time I posted here somebody said that can be important.

      Any input is helpful

It could have just been an anomalous occurrence, so I wouldn't worry about your subconscious trying to tell you terrifying things about yourself.

That being said, it's hard for me to personally divine meaning from a dream, as in my experience, it's a giant amorphous pile of things I've experienced recently, things that are often in my thoughts, environmental factors regarding the place I am sleeping and then just random shit that my mind decides to throw in.

What was the environment you were sleeping in like at the time? You don't smell anything in dreams normally, but was there a strong smell in the room present with you while you slept? Was anything irregular in your environment?

The environment was the same as it always has been. I WAS in a bit more pain than usual because I messed up my back at work. Other than that it was just a typical night. Nothing seemed off when I went to sleep.
