As I said, it's very distressing. I know running means I'm literally trying to avoid something/someone but what about when I'm desperately trying to grab the ground/grass for help to pull me forward? Has anyone ever had dreams like that?! |

Oh god yes!! I have had so many of these types of dreams. I remember when I used to compete in cross country runs( in real life )I had a dream where I was winning the race and then when I got to the end I did this. I slowed down, kept tripping and grabbed at the ground feverishly to pull me forward. I crawled over the finish line only after everyone had passed me, of course xD. It's probably rooted in fear. I think your analysis is correct, maybe you don't want something to end. In real life I often don't finish reading books and I have numerous art projects that I have left unfinished because if I finish them what happens if they don't live up to my or others expectations, in other words fear. Anyways I haven't had one of those dreams in a while but I agree with you they are very distressing and frustrating. I hope you can find a way to work through it, good luck |

Lucid dreams make your dreams come true!!
I used to have those dreams a lot when I was younger. I think it reflects a feeling of a lack of control over your life, or lack of confidence perhaps. |
