      Night terrors, bad ones

Ive been having sleepparalazys, for over thre years no. It starts immediatly after i fall asleep. This verry ugly, terrefying old lady is choking me, and keep bending down to my face, staring me down, and keep trying to whisper something in my ear. I Cant move at all. I try turning away, but i cant move anything but my eyes. And it seems that everyrhing in my bedroom is exactly the same. Ekcsept that creature from hell" i usualy wake up in a state of extreme paninc.just before.her face touches mine. And there is also a extremly disgusting smell just after i awake, like rotten meat or something. If someone have any info at all, it would be werry much appriciated. Fells like im gonna lose it. Been popping benzos an morphine to try stopping this from happening, im seeing a therapist too. But he is kinda clules.

You using benzos and morphin? Could be those are the cause of your hallucinations.

You don't wake up from SP. When you notice you are paralyzed, your mind is awake, but your body is asleep. You wake up your body by moving the finger tips and toes and slowing or speeding up your breathing. That way your mind notices you are awake and will release the SP. Hard to believe that your psychiatrist doesn't know about this SP disorder. Maybe time to find a new one.

I have only ever reached paralysis from the opposite side, from being awake and attempting to be motionless...

But have you upon waking to find yourself paralyzed ever attempted instead of moving your arm or leg, instead of moving your hand or foot, attempted to move just the tips of your fingers or the tips of your toes.

Whenever I have wasted like 30-90 minutes to reach paralysis, invariably I test to see how much I can wiggle a finger tip or a toe and not break paralysis. Of course the only way to find the line is to cross it

I move the tips only a tiny tiny tiny bit and nothing, then a bit more and then BAMM un-paralyzed, it is like my hole body has a weight lifted from it, the numbness drains away in a split second, the compression seems to decompress instantly and I am back where I started laying there body awake.

So try to move a tiny extremity not like a shoulder or torso, if paralyzed these things will not move, but do more than just imagine your finger tips quaking and you might break free.
Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.

Also why not try confronting her. It cannot make it worse. Maybe it will resolve it.

I've been in nightmares before like that. Believe me I understand it's probably the last thing you wanna do.

honestly if you want to be in control of your dreams, try playing video games for 30 mins-hour before you go to sleep at night. As crazy as it sounds, playing and moving around in simulated worlds in video games makes your brain much better at controlling your dreams, another simulated world.

wouldn't recommend using substances to solve problems like this, but if you smoke marijuana before you sleep there's a very slim chance you will experience your dreams, as marijuana interferes with REM. Don't take Morphine or Benzo's that is a horrible idea. if anything weed will help a lot more, but again i never recommend using drugs to solve problems you can work through yourself (even if its super hard)

Hope this helps a bit, I know night terrors can be freaky as hell. Just try to go to sleep with a positive mind set and make sure your sleeping arrangements have good feng-shui (ie, dont leave your bedroom door open, don't sleep right next to a window)
