Thread: Dream super weird help decode!!!

hey, so I'm new on here so I apologize if this is like... incorrect or anything! When I analyze my own dreams, I look at stuff, or more specifically an event/conversation, that might've happened that day that could've connected with my dream (i.e.: you went to the beach one day and saw your crush, and you dreamed about a beach-themed wedding with your crush... it can get a LOT deeper than this so if you have any dreams and if my interpretation helped in any way I'd be more than happy to interpret some more!!). I don't know about your day or anything, so that part is kind of up to you. Sometimes the dreams can be focused on like... one minor thing that happened, like a ride on the train and a guy on it. I'm a firm believer in how dreams relate to experiences you've encountered, while implying a meaning. Who knows.

Anyways, I'll just kind of interpret phrases I see in your dream in this next paragraph. With some dreams, there can be little "sequences" that transitions a storyline (like a dream/meaning), and they generally don't mean anything significant. If anything at all, these sequences just show how important a storyline is to another storyline. ANYWAYS:

"I was in a future setting trying to escape these natives where alot of technology that moved cargo was and it was abandoned"
Perhaps this relates to a factory? Do you work with a lot of technology? The fact that you say it was abandoned makes me wonder if you had previously worked with technology/creation of it/ or even something relating to science.

"but I was with people maybe 2 friends my Dad and my Brother and we were trying going through obstacles all over this cargo movement system"
I'm guessing you, your dad, your brother, and your two friends are all really close as you go through the obstacles. Maybe this means all of you guys have gone through serious stuff together and you have all pulled through with each other's help.

"that was on the ocean there were platforms we had to jump onto then a boat we went onto I had to jump on to a train attached to the bottom of a rail and I had to keep attached to it which was difficult to do then I got to the other side where the train took me where the natives shot at but did not kill us then"
I think the jump to the platforms then the boat is a sequence because nothing really happens, but it could also mean a shift in things (as you shift from the platform to the boat). Getting to the other side makes me think that you've overcome something significant, like a job switch or a big move. The natives could be people who are trying to hurt you/your career/ or maybe your love life with a significant other. You say that they hadn't killed you then, so I'm guessing you overcame them and moved on with your life.

"I'm in a boat in society we go out into the ocean crash and there's a dock there where we are fishing and I vaguely remember someone getting dragged out to sea then eventually we appear in this mansion near the ocean on a beach which looked shabby like a large scrappy beach Hut kind of and we're living well for a while while there is another dock outside to the right of the house next to the garden (somehow) and the ocean and the dock is blocked off by large net which keeps us from going out to the ocean or on the deck"

The crashing and the dock seem like another sequence. Someone being dragged out to sea could just mean you have lost contact with someone or someone has just faded out of your life. The shabby mansion/hut could mean something you once though was so amazing and grand, like an idea, is no longer what you thought it would be. So you've been like... disillusioned by a philosophy or something, or maybe you've just changed (like you once wanted to be a doctor but now you want to be a lawyer), and the fact that you're living in it for a while possibly means that you're doing something you don't want to do in your life because you wanted to be it for so long (like you've wanted to be a doctor since you were a kid, but now you really don't want to be a doctor so now you feel like you're stuck). The ocean and the nets can mean that because you feel trapped in what you wanted to be/something you used to believe, and you're experiencing setbacks when you try to change (i.e.: you were studying to go the PreMed course in college, but you don't want to be a doctor anymore, and your parents say how proud of you they are because you're becoming a doctor).

"and eventually we (we being my entire family) see a giant whale in the distance, a blue whale and it gets really close to the docks and splashed a huge wave of water on us (big but nothing damaging just like being in the splash zone of a water show)and then the whale gets too close and jumps on the dock destroying it and it waddles into the house killing my Brother and my mom and then I'm running away and it's destroying the house I run outside leaving my other brother and dad behind then swimming out to sea (which was a terrible idea)"

The whale could mean a whole bunch of things, but I'm going to narrow it down to maybe your true thoughts. It may sound a little crazy but hold on!! When the whale splashes the water on you and your family, the water could symbolize an "awakening" so maybe you've realized you don't want to do something with your life. You say that it kills your brother and mother, so maybe they're the ones holding you back from something. You SHOUDLNT kill them, but maybe you should focus more on what you want in your life than what they say about how you should live your life. Your other brother and dad could be swimming out to sea to symbolize how they want you to make your own choices but will always be there for you.

"then I realize I'm in a giant pool that goes like 73 feet deep at the deep end and I'm just being tossed around in the endless waves at this point and I'm suffocating and drowning finally after all of this where I sink to the bottom and can no longer see light and I wake up"
The pool could mean how you feel trapped in a decision. The waves could be your internal arguing like you thinking: "well I want to be a lawyer" "but, I'm studying to be a doctor". The suffocation and drowning could just mean you're really tired of something. Sinking to the bottom and no longer seeing the light is just you not grasping how you need to change your ways so you can feel better.
