I was in the kitchen where I currently live, pouring 3 or 4 glasses of milk. My 3-year-old Scott refused the milk I poured for him. My 6-year-old, Tori willingly takes his milk. My husband states that he'll have some, and I reminded him he can't drink milk. I think I decided I would drink mine and the extra one.

Sounds like something that would happen after you wake up.

With the exception of my husband wanting milk, it is something I've done several times.

Last night, I did dream, just can't remember it. Within moments of my alarm going off and waking me up, everything faded.

I was at a sort of small water park that had only a few water slides. There was a straight slide and a corkscrew slide. I wanted to go down the twisty corkscrew slide, but someone left a bundle of something in the way. It may have been either a blanket or a towel or maybe a pile of clothes. I went down the slide anyway, and did not run into the bundle, whatever it was. It was fun going down this small twisty waterslide. Eventually, I think Corban Bleau joined the fun. Then it was time to go. I found myself at home in Payson looking over some clothes. There was a pair of shorts that only had about 1-2 inch inseam. I decided to try it on juust to see how they fit. As I put them on, they turned into a pair of capris pants. I also had a pink shirt that I got a black marker and tried to write something on it, but the marker didn't work right. I spent the last few minutes of the dream trying to spit-clean the marker off the shirt. It started to work a little, then I woke up.

From last night's dream, I remember I was either at a BYU/U of U game, or I was watching it on TV, but it seems I was at the stadium. It was the final play of the game, the football was being passed to a Ute, and he was just about to catch it. The picture froze and got jumpy for a moment, and just as I was wondering if he caught it or not for the winning touchdown, the picture came back and the Utes were celebrating their win. *Darn it.*

These kinds of dreams always happen to me...being there, but at the same time not....sort of observing it. Hehe, I'm sorry you didn't get to see the end of the game...

It actually reminded me of the BYU/Ute game that was last Saturday. BYU and UofU are state rivals, and it's quite a rivalry. I'm for BYU. There was a minute and a half left of the game and the Utes were ahead. BYU managed to get a touchdown and take the lead. With seconds left, the Utes had a man in the end zone, and the pass was going straight and true to him. The catch would win the game for the Utes. But one of the Cougars (BYU) tipped the ball and made him miss, winning the game for the Cougars! In my dream, I do remember thinking it was the Utes turn to win. In real life, BYU needs to beat them every game. No turn taking.

I'd found a website Dreammoods that has a 'dream dictionary' with a lot of things in dreams and what they could mean. Football, according to this site, "signifies that you will have great satisfaction in your work and your goals will be achieved as you progress through your life."

I'm planning to refer to that website whenever I want to try and figure out my dreams. I posted one nearly 2 weeks ago in the dream interpretation on these forums and nobody's looked at it. As well as a lot of others I've noticed.

      12-2-07 A) Where's my shoes?

The begining of the dream is a littly unclear. My Mom was in the ER for some reason I don't know. As I go in with her, I take off my shoes so I am barefooted. I start to wander around the hospital. While wandering around, I come across a transporter room where Captain Picard and Lt. Data were at the controls talking about what was on the transporter pad. There were 5 or 6 pillars that floated around over the pad. 2 of them were glowing a yellow gold color. They'd activated a containment field on the pad so they could not leave the transporter. Picard was saying something about his ancestors being more advanced than they. I left that room.

I return to the ER where my mom is on a hospital bed now, with an IV needle in her shoulder. It was just the needle, no IV attached to it. Like the things doctors use when they need multiple blood samples. The bandaid over where it was inserted into her shoulder had bled through, and a nurse decided Mom needed a 'bleeding test'. The nurse inserts a syringe into the thing in Mom's shoulder and draws blood from it, then squirts it out on Mom's shoulder. She does it 2 or 3 more times, always squirting the blood onto Mom's bare skin. I also knew she needed a bone transplant, and I would be the one to donate it for her.

The hospital was closing to visitors, and I had to leave. I remembered I had no shoes on. I needed to get to an elevator to the 2nd floor to get my shoes back. I look around to find an elevator, but all I can see are emergency exit doors. Bishop Geslison (my current ward bishop) is there, and I was about to ask him where the elevator is and I find it. I step into the elevator, and I think I pressed the button to go to floor 2, but it suddenly drops down a couple of floors. The descent knocks me to my knees. I look around and I'll do my best to describe how I knew it was by the end of this part.

I was in a large open room. Along the walls were different levels with walkways. The elevator I was in had no elevator shaft, no cables or anything under it to raise or lower it. It just floated. The elevator floor itself was like a step. There was a lower part that was about a foot or foot and a half wide, then a step up about 6 inches higher and just as wide. The whole thing was about 5 feet long or so and it was black. In the center of the room was a table that had around ten men in suits either eating or having a meeting. The area was at least a dozen stories high, though I don't know how high it really is. I never saw the top. That described, I'll continue with the events of the dream.

I stood back up and pressed the '7' button to go to the 7th floor. The 'elevator' started going up now, but it also flew wildly around the room in a circle. I was down again, clinging to it. I wanted to wrap my arms around the elevator floor, but I knew I would get hurt when it arrived if I did. So I held on the best I could. My skirt or nightshirt started to go up immodetly and I noticed the men below. I dared to let go with one hand and pull it down to literally cover my butt. Then the elevator started going up. It went up so fast the floors were somewhat a blur. As I got higher and higher, I started to worry that I would get crushed against the ceiling. I was downright scared. Then, it came to a stop.

I got off as though it was a normal elevator ride and went to a lady at a desk. I explained to her I'd lost my shoes and she started to help me look for the shoes. It started out as a small area to look, but gradually the search area took up the whole room. As we were looking, there was an EMT that came to me crying. I tried to ignore her to find my shoes, but she wouldn't leave me alone. I realized she'd lost a patient and I put my arms around her and comforted her. When she had calmed down, she helped look for my shoes.

At one point, we'd found a size 10.5 kids shoe that was white and yellow and we tried it onto my 3-year-old. I reminded them it was my shoes we were looking for. I'd found a box full of shoes I'd owned but got rid of, and decided if I had to, I'd wear a pair from the box. As the search continued, I'd found a couple of pair of black strappies I own. I finally decided to retrace my steps. I went back to the main desk where I had removed my shoes and I found them. Now, I could go.

I found myself about 2 blocks from my childhood home near the Blanchards home. On the north east corner of the block was a horse with a lead tied to a post. the horse was either dark brown or black, and I knew he wanted to come with me. I wanted to take him, but knew it wasn't right as he wasn't mine, so I walked home. I woke up before I got there.

12-2-2007 B) Get out of my house!

I got 'home' from somewhere and found 5 people in the kitchen and 2 more in the living room. The people in the kitchen were making what looked like chicken salad sandwiches in coissants. I told them to get out. One of the people in the living room said "It doesn't have to end." and the rest took that as my permission to stay. I told them I didn't say that and reiteated for them to get out. They didn't.

I got up on the counter and started to gather energy to myself (for lack of a better description). My husband came in and likewise gathered energy to himself too. I felt the energy build and build. The people in the kitchen started getting nervous. I sent my gathered energy into my husband as I didn't know what to do with all the power and energy but knew something would happen soon. Before I could find out what was going to happen, all the people ran out of the house.

My sister Barbara came in and said she'd made dessert, apple chicken pot pies. Scott, my younger son, came in and reached for one of the coissant sandwiches. I'd mentioned that I wanted that one and Barbara pointed out to me there were a lot of them to choose from.

End of dream #2 that I remembered from last night.

I had another dream. I was in a city that was flooding. I knew I had to 'go back' for Tori, my oldest son, because 'the chemicals can mix'. I got a jogging stroller and went inside a building. Tori appeared in the stroller, but he's at least a teenager, rather than the 6-year-old he currently is. I run with him in the stroller, and he accidentally gets dumped out and scrapes up his nose. I get him back into the stroller and know I need to get him to the hospital. He's completely listless as he lay in the stroller he barely fits in. Not dead, but not moving one bit on his own. I see a large dark red brick building a few stories tall, and head toward it. It just had to be the hospital.

When I get to the corner of the block I'm on, I round it, then realize there's no way for me to get the jogging stroller off the sidewalk and across the road unless I go back to the corner. Even then, when I get to where the sidewalk goes down to meet the same level as the road, I still turn around and slowly pull Tori in the stroller onto the road. Then, I turn back around and start jogging down the road to the building. Two cars come along, and I move to the left side of the road to keep from being hit. Then, I cross and take Tori, stroller and all, inside.

When I get inside the building, there's an area that is not very large for what it seemed it should, and an escalator down. Even though I know in real life and also in the dream strollers are not allowed on escalators, I turn around and get on it, the back of the stroller first. Surprisingly, it fit. We get to the bottom of the escalator, and as I turn the stroller back around so it's going forward, I realise it's not the hospital I'm at, but an airport. I ask the lady at the desk at the bottom of the escalator if she knows where the hospital is, and she doesn't know. I turn around to go back up and out of the building to look for the hospital, but I don't see an 'up' escalator to go on. There's the one I came down on, and one that comes up from a lower level, but none to take me back up. Beyond the desk where the lady was standing, there was a hallway, but I knew I didn't want to go down the hall. I was trapped with Tori and was frustrated that I couldn't find a hospital for him.

Isn't that annoying when you can't find what you need In dreams. That happens to me often as well. It's so typical, the hospital turning into an airport. Then You can't find the up escalator. Very dream like situation.

Yeah, that is annoying. Needing an address to tell the 9-1-1 operator, but the signs keep changing on me, the hospital becoming an airport, the words/page numbers for church songs changing while I'm singing them. I think I've got to do more reality checks so I realize that it's a dream when things like that happen.

This is actually a dream I had Saturday night (December 8). There was more to it than what I remember and am writing, but here's what I do remember:

I was at church, and it was the building I went to growing up. There were two things I desperately had to do. Go to the ladie's room, and express milk. (I'm a nursing mother right now in RL, but my milk is drying up.) I decided to go to the bathroom first, which I did at the rest room near the resourse library close to the Primary Room. When I got in there, there were 2 stalls with no doors. I got in line and had a stack of books with me. Someone asked me if one stall was for someone reading one book, the other for someone reading a different one, and if she was reading both books, if she would only be able to do half in one stall and have to switch stalls to finish up. I believe I told her "I hope not." and I went in one to do what I had to.

Then, I went to the multi-purpose room on the other side of the building to take care of the milk issue. I closed off one part of the room and found a chair to sit on while I did what I needed to do. But, I realized there were other ladies around, and I didn't want to be seen expressing milk. So, I closed off the other side so it was just me in the middle room. Then, I realized I didn't have anything to express the milk into.

That is all I remember of the dream. I've been noticing that a lot of my remembered dreams lately have had to do with a church building. I've recently been trying to improve my spirituality by reading the scriptures daily, and I'm thinking that may be causing a lot of church sightings in my dreams.

      12/15/07 I was lucid!

I'll try to remember as much as I can. I was at a house somewhere and I think I and some others were trying to figure out how to get MaryAnn (my sister-in-law) outside, but she was unconscious. We already had a blanket to use to carry her out on, but for some reason, I felt we needed something to hold her besides the blanket. I was looking at some fairly long sticks that were shaped somewhat like 'y' so we could place her on them and lift her with the sticks. I had one, but needed more. There was a very long one inside the front room, and as I was manuvering that one around, it went nearly to the ceiling. It hit a family picture of Bill and Cathy and family (more in-laws that live the closest without being in the same house). The picture was the only one on the plain white walls and was okay after I hit it. I was going to break that stick, but it was floppy, not a firm solid stick. I put down the stick for a moment because I had to go to the bathroom. I went into the bathroom and it was actually more of a normal one. As I was on it, I felt the way I do when I'm on my period, and when I looked, the discharge was clear, rather than red.

"I'm having a dream!" I realized and said out loud. A came into the bathroom with me and started asking me about a problem she had, but I told her I could only handle one thing at a time. Though I knew I was dreaming, I wanted to complete the task that the dream had given me, rather than having any fun with it. I woke up before I could do either.

This is a big step for me, being in a dream and realizing I was in a dream. I am a person who likes to complete a challenge like I had in the dream, so it doesn't really suprise me that I didn't go out and start to fly or anything like that. When I woke up, I was still thinking about how to solve the original problem I'd been presented. I know there's more to this dream, but I'm doing good to remember that much. I'm just thrilled that I realized I was in a dream when I saw something and recognized that it was not right.

I understand the feeling of wanting to go with the flow of the dream rather than trying to force anything too soon. I've heard that it can help stabilize lucid dreams, so it's certainly not a bad thing just to get creative and see what your subconscious can come up with. You have every right to be thrilled, too - clearly the work you're doing on criticizing reality is paying off. Congratulations!

I'll try to remember as much of my dream as I can.

I was following after someone in a somewhat dark building. He went up to a door that I knew did not really belong where it was on the wall and I watched as he tried to get in. He said to the door, I think it was the word 'portal', I know it started with a 'p' sound, and the door opened a few inches. He went in and the door closed behind him. Another person came up to where I stood, and I told him the man we were following went through the door, and also that I heard the word to get it to open. I said it, the door opened, and we went in.

When I got through the door, I found myself in a huge room. The ceiling seemed to be 2 stories high, and I'm not sure how to estimate how big the room was, but it was roughly square and was decorated with red and I think I remember black. In the room were 3 (that I noticed) 'shadow warriors' as well as two others that wore black cloaks.

The shadow warriors were like ninjas and they attacked me and the person I was with. I met their attacks with karate or some other martial arts which I do not actually know. I drove them off of attacking me, then charged toward one of the cloaked figures and another man besides my target stopped me from getting there. I looked at him, and it was Jackie Chan! I told him that I'm one of the people he's with and he did not attack me as he was going to. (Last night, I saw Around the World in 80 days with Jackie Chan in it, I think it contributed to my dream.)

I looked toward the center of the room at one of the cloaked figures. The cloak was a sable-ish color and the man pulled the hood off his head, then let the cloak fall to the floor behind him. He had a smooth complexion and dark blond hair. His face was somewhat round. I knew he was not going to attack with martial arts like the shadow warriors had, but with a lightsaber. I turned to a wall and saw several (plastic toy) lightsabers. I went over to the wall, picked out one with a blue blade. The handle was not quite any that I'd seen, but the power button was inset into the handle and out of the way so I selected that one. It was also comfortable to hold. My weapon selected, I turned back to the man, who had decided to duel elsewhere with the person I'd entered the room with. Those two went through a door I had not noticed before, as though they were long-time buddies and were not going to fight.

With him gone, and Jackie and the shadow warriors also gone, I looked again in the room and saw one more figure in a black cloak. She removed the cloak and I could tell she was evil. I don't really remember what she wore or much about her but I knew she was evil. She got in her hand a red bladed lightsaber and I stood ready with my blue one. I charged, she defended, and I hit her on the left upper arm then backed off a step. She laughed and said simply 'Titanium'. I went in again to attack, slid my blade along hers like I know how to, spun it around and hit her on the right arm close to where she held the lightsaber. She again shrugged it off and said 'Titanium'. I knew that somehow, she was titanium, preventing me from chopping off any body parts as the lightsaber should have done.

She started toward me, thrusting her lightsaber straight toward me, lunging with each step. I did my best to bring my lightsaber up to block the thrusts to either side, and more than once was narrowly missed. I finally decided to do her own trick. I lunged forward with my blade straight at her, dodging to the side to avoid her blade, and I thrust my blade into her. I believe it was at her gut. This time, she WAS affected by it, but I don't recall her dying.

I can't remember anything else before my alarm went off and I woke up.

nice drem it seems alot of dreams involve fighting which is almost like the matrix in how all of a sudden you know how to fight like a pro but very interesting dream sounds like a scenerio from a dragonlance series minus the light saber and stuff

Thanks for your comment. I've never seen the things you are referring to, but yeah, I do sometimes have a streak of fighting in my dreams.
