      Standard Task Completed!!

I'm late in the month, but it's done regardless.

I use the DEILD method, and have an FA. I immediatly do the nose RC, and realize I am dreaming. I try to remember the task, and easily recall both of them. I decide to do the standard one, as it seems easy and is late in the month. I wrench open my desk drawer looking for cards, only to find none. I have an idea: run to my cabinet that has game boards in it, there are sure to be cards in there. I run there and find a pack easily. There are other things besides cards in the box, notably a popsicle stick wrapped in paper that has a picure of an oriental dragon on it. I grab a card. On the back it looks like a standard bicycle card, but it is much thinner; I could see through it. I turn it over. There is a picture of a king, with fours in all the corners. There is no symbol. All the ink is a dark brown. The king looks normal, except he has two heads facing opposite directions, connected by the back of the head. At the bottom of the card it says "REPORT" in all caps. I pull out another card for good measure. It has the same picture, without numbers. The card is also about one-and-a-half times as big as the first, though it was the same size while in the stack. At the bottom of the card it says, "Reussarize the Presupposition Report." At the top it says, "Resupposition Report," both in all caps. Task done!!!

      Grand Theft Auto

As soon as I got into this one, I knew I was dreaming. I was flleing on foot form loads of police cars, helicopters, and police on foot in a very Grand Theft Auto-esque scene. I was carrying a whip made of tiny blades, something like the weapon in Prince of Persia: Two Thrones. I jumped over a railing, and about twenty mob guys surrounded me, their guns all pointed at my head. I was crouched, contemplating my next move, and the first thought that went through my head was, "I've never taken on that many before..." I was working up the nerve to swing my whip in a wide arc when I woke up. I should've gone for it.

      Tasks Of the Month October

Okay, they aren't quite what I wanted, so I will be trying again. Most all of it is task related, it's kinda long, sorry. I used the DEILD method to induce 2 lucids this morning. The first one I had is below this, for memory reasons. So, I have an FA, and do the nose RC, just to make sure. Of course, I'm dreaming.

I remember the tasks, and decide to do the adavanced, since I have a mirror in my bathroom, less than 20 steps away. I step in the bathroom, and casually try to turn on the light, and it doesn't work. Typical. I look in the mirror, mess with my hair and such, and my reflection mimics me. I try to stick my hand through, to no avail. I try a few times, but just hit hard mirror every time. I punch the mirror in anger, and it makes a tiny crack, like a baseball hitting a car window, but not breaking it. I put my hand up to the crack, and ease my hand in the window. I remember thinking, "Hmm, mercury," because my hand was covered in silver, like Neo in the matrix. My reflection looks frightened, and backs away. I lunge for her hand, my arm in the mirror up to my shoulder. I'm able to grab it, but she resists. I put my other arm in, and grab her with both hands. I brace myself against the counter and pull with all my weight. She tumbles out of the mirror and onto the floor. I accidentally let go. She stands and looks at me. I say, "Hey! Why do we dream?"

She shakes her head and darts back into the mirror even as I lunge to stop her. (I figure this stills counts because it never said they had to answer...) Without thinking, I throw myself into the mirror. I'm still not sure if this was a good idea or a bad idea, because I am suddenly in a world of darkness. The sky is black, there are dead trees everywhere, the road is crumbled, and the house in front of me is falling apart. Best of all, my reflection is nowhere to be seen, but I can hear her voice. "I can't tell you, " she says. I barely hear this before I back into the mirror and return to my bathroom.

I start yelling at her through the mirror. I yell, "I'll make you a deal! Tell me and I'll never bother you again!" I hear some sort of inaudible mumble through the mirror. I take the plunge and enter Scary-Ville again. Somehow I know I have to enter the house. I go inside, and suddenly I see nothing but pumpkins on a black background, with no jack o lantern features, like some sort of a computer game. There are jack o lantern pieces in corner, like eyes and noses. A voice tells me I have to win the game. The pumpkins shuffle, and stop on one. I have to pick a piece right for it. I did this for about five shuffles, making no progress, when the scene changes.

I am looking at a colorful 'screen' with beans of all different shades, like a colour palette. When a bean appears in the corner, I have to pick the bean that matches that color. The catch is, I only have a certain number of tries, and it's the dream world so the colors can say they're wrong when they're right. I woke up while losing at this one.

Both are kinda not as good as I'd hoped, so I'm gonna keep trying this month.

The Much shorter, less interesting dream

I had another FA, hopped out my window and pulled a guy off a motorcycle. I accelerated at awesome speeds, then hit a ramp leading over the water. My bike flew, until I reached land that looked very sim-city like. I woke up while trying to find a good landing spot.

Bed isn't such a bad spot to land in. Sure beats concrete.
