Palace Dinner (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I woke up before my alarm went off and remembered a dream, but I accidentally fell back asleep instead of writing it down and forgot it. Then halfway through writing down that i didn't remember the dream, I remembered it again. ^^

I was in a palace, and we were eating dinner in two different rooms. In one room were my siblings and cousins; in the other were a couple of DV members, my mom, and a family friend. My cousins were being oddly silent, so I went in there and started a conversation. Then we presented the new king to the family friend. As a joke, we had the king kneel down so he looked like a little kid, but then he actually became a small child.

Then there was a random bit at the end where these royal horseback riders were discussing how they wanted to retire but couldn't.

Hahah, that's some sort of random dream.

Blue Barn (DILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I went on a picnic/field trip to a swamp with some people, then went back. There was a bathroom that had about forty toilets all in a block. They were bizzarre toilets, to say the least. I won't go into details here.

Somehow I ended up outside, and I did a random reality check. It took me a couple of seconds to realize that the check had just failed and I was dreaming. My friend, was going on about how she couldn't fly, so I showed her how to jump into the air, then jump again to get higher. She tried it but couldn't do it. I thought I'd pull her up with me, but instead she just pulled me down. For some reason flying was harder than usual, so I decided to get airborne first and then come back for her.

I flew up the side of the blue barn we were standing next to, then over the top of it (completely forgetting about my friend). For stability, I touched the metal and marveled at how realistic it looked. It looked a bit old, and I could feel the thin layer of dust on it. I was having trouble flying fast, so I decided to land and get a running start. Landing felt interesting; it was like someone had just turned gravity back on.

I remembered that one of my goals was to run really fast, but it was hard to get going because the dream felt so real and I'm not a very fast runner. I stood on a little stick and pushed myself along, and got going about as fast as a scooter. Then my uncle pulled me into a little run-down tool shed and started telling me about how the actual voltage of a switch doesn't matter, just the voltage difference between the two terminals. I already knew that and I was bored, but I didn't want to be rude, so I stayed awhile before I realized that there was nothing rude about ditching a dream character.

On a whim, I got rid of one of the small windows of the shed, slid out it headfirst, and landed in a hand stand. I took a few steps with my hands, marveled at how stable the dream was even though I was upside down, then stood up again. I thought about walking on water, but the idea of summoning water seemed too daunting. I ended up just standing there wondering what to do. My thought process was something like this: "What am I supposed to do now? Man, I'm bored. Wait a minute, how can I be bored in a lucid dream? Aren't the possibilities supposed to be endless? Standing around is kind of wasting a dream. Meh, I'm done being lucid."

Then I either had a nonlucid FA, or I fell into non-dream sleep.

Teaching at DVA (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was trying to maximize something. Apparently I'd had another lucid dream and put it online. Then I either became a teacher at DVA or imagined what it would be like to become one. I was going to teach XeL something, but then I decided that I needed to learn more before I tried to teach anyone else. While I was looking on DV, I saw that Naiya's next assignment was for us to learn how to wake up in the middle of the night without an alarm.

There was more to this dream, but I don't remember it. It's always interesting to see what words come to mind when I try to remember a dream. This time I got a tower, a magical forest, and skateboarding. I did remember an indicent/conversation with a couple of random DC's, but I'm going to censor it. =P

When You Gotta Go, You Gotta Go (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm not sure where I was--in a house maybe? In any case, I realized that I had to pee. Oddly, the idea of finding a bathroom didn't even cross my mind. Instead I was worried about waking up if I peed in a dream, and then I was slightly surprised when I stayed asleep. I'm not sure how I could have thought that if I wasn't lucid, but I don't remember actually realizing that it was a dream. I wish I could remember more of this dream.

Laundry and Ice Cream (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in a white house with some other people, possibly my little brother and my cousins. I was styaing in a room with one of my friends, and our room was a bit of a mess. My friend decided to do all of her laundry and hang it up. The room looked a lot cleaner than it had before, and it also smelled quite nice. I thought that I should also clean up my stuff, but I didn't feel like it. There was a fire somewhere else, so we left to go help with it. It's possible that we were at war with someone.

I was walking down a flight of steps with three of my friends and a person who annoys me. Luckily the annoying person said that she had to go and left. When we got to the bottom, there was a small table and two big armchairs, one placed at a corner and one at a side but facing parallel to the tabletop and away from the other chair. (This is the sort of thing I would draw a picture for. Three labeled squares is hardly a work of art, but it's much simpler than describing it.) We (just the person I was rooming with; the others had disappeared) sat down in the chairs, and my friend asked me if I wanted ice cream. I didn't because we'd already had some earlier that day, but I told her that she could have some. Strangely, I hadn't rejected the ice cream because I wanted to eat healthy--it actually didn't appeal to me.

Freeway Driving (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

We were going on a road trip in the white van (which is pretty old), and it was raining pretty hard. Water was coming through the very middle of the roof, but when I looked up there wasn't a hole or anything. Enough water came in that a pool started to form on the floor of the car. I was wearing a rain coat, but I still got wet. I also failed to keep my sleeping bag dry.

My dad was driving on the freeway, and we were going REALLY fast. Suddenly there were a bunch of cars comnig straight at us, and I remembered that they'd closed this side of the freeway earlier so that they could switch which direction the traffic was going because one side was really busy. There were only two lanes going our way, so we quickly switched over to them. However, the cars were going really slow and we were still speeding, so we came pretty close to crashing anyway.

Then I was on the side of the road by a freeway exit, and I was playing with a red balloon. It landed onto a spiky plant and almost popped. Somehow I ended up with a big yellow yoga ball, which I threw around some. It too landed on a spiky plant, and I was worried it would pop. Then my mom and I were talking about how she didn't know any of the songs that I liked. I told her that this year one of my ice skating groups was going to do Avatar for the show. As the dream faded out, I saw some beautiful clear gloves with various blue stones on them.

Cullen Just Can't Compete With WILD (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was on a road trip (again), this time with my cousins. We stopped by a lake, and I accidentally dropped my flashlight in. I was attached to a helicopter by a rope, so it hovered low over the water to let me grab it. At first I was only up to my ankles in water, but by the end I might as well have been swimming. My flashlight floated away and then sank before I could grab it, but I got about four other that were exactly like it, but one had a wheel chair attached to it and the other had a squirt gun. I think I wanted to try WILD then, but we had to get back into the car. I tried to move without losing my progress.

Next thing I knew, I was in a house going on a date with Edward Cullen. We were going to bed (in a loose sense of the word--it was actually a pile of matresses) and he wanted to "have some fun" , but I was more interested in attempting WILD. I came pretty close to succeeding, but I ended up still in the same dream (minus Cullen). My cat was being naughty by trying to climb up the walls, so my mom asked me to stop her. To do that, I planted a Something Death Tree (don't remember the first word) in the front yard. It was really tall, and covered in bright cotton candy-colored pink leaves and berries. If you touched or ate the leaves/berries, you would die. I accidentally put some berries on my face, and then I saw that my mom was eating them, which confused me.

Then my dad was driving again, and he almost crashed into another car in the parking lot. The dream switched to a TV show explaining why speeding is bad.

Horses vs Donkeys (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was ice skating, wearing two different tye dye shirts that didn't match at all. One of them was normal length, but the other went down to my ankles, which made it really hard to skate. Overall the outfit was hideous. We were doing axels that day and I was frying, so I mostly just stood around.

When I went inside, my long shirt disappeared and there was a war between horses and donkeys. It was three horses against three donkeys. Each animal had a rider. Each team had three fires, and the goal was to put out all of the other team's fires. I was on the donkeys' side. The donkeys weren't really used to being ridden, so we had to be careful not to get bucked off. Both of my teammates fell of right at the beginning, which left only me, so I ended up doing a lot of running away. At one point I got off my donkey and pretended to be on their side so I could sneak up to their "fire" and attack it. Turns out the "fires" were actually lightbulbs. Then I escaped by jumping back onto my donkey and sliding under a closing garage door. The other team decided that having the "fires" in the building was too dangerous, so they switched to bonfires just outside.

Hahaha, your dreams are pretty damn funny XD I really enjoy reading them.

WHHAAAAAA?! Even I (A completely straight guy) wouldn't miss the opportunity to "have some fun" with that sexy vampire.

Another Freeway Dream (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID



I was in a parking lot at night with my dad, who was wearing tie dye. I started driving the car, and somehow I ended up on the freeway. I panicked and tried to exit, but I was going too fast. I lost control of the car, missed the exit, and swerved onto a strip of dirt next to the freeway. I managed to get back onto the road, and took the next exit. The exit led to one of those raised roads. This one was very hilly and the pavement was old and had a lot of little holes. I was still going way too fast, so I had to fight to keep the car from flying into the air and over the edge.

Then the dream switched to 3rd person, so it was more like controlling a video game than actually driving, but I was very aware that if I crashed it would be the end of me and my mom (who had apparently replaced my dad). My mom took over controlling the car, and we hit a dead end. There was a hole in the middle of the pavement, and a little yellow car was falling through. The guy inside was a creeper anyway, though, so we didn't really care. We went into the car not to rescue him, but to get the stuff that was ours out of his car.

Bees, Pokemon, Fish, and Freedom (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID



We owned a lot of land, so we had an extra house on our property. I went down to look at it, but it was under construction. So far all that had been done were sticks had been placed at the corner of where each room would be. Near it was a little, run-down shack that was swarming with those big, ugly flies and carpenter bees. Wanting to get away from the bees, I went back up the path. Of couse, a bee started flying straight at me. I started to run away, then froze and waited for it to pass before I kept walking.

Up ahead I saw that there was a Pichu in the middle of the path. I called to my Marill, which was up ahead a bit more (the Pichu was between us). There was a person walking with the Marill, but I only saw him briefly before he disappeared from the dream. My Marill turned around and attacked the Pichu, but it quickly got creamed. I called out my Pikachu, but it also quickly got defeated. I was annoyed that this little Pichu was so overpowered. It was attacking me now, so I ran away.

The trail was a loop, so I ended up back at the house, which now had a floor. Apparently I was staying there now along with some other people, so I set up my sleeping bag. My mom pulled up the tent/tarp walls and roof. We ate fish for dinner, and my cousin arrived and was very happy to see me.

Next thing I knew, the house was fully constructed and a new couple was moving in. They had several kids, who I was quite fond of. The husband was an asshole though, so the wife wanted a divorce. We (me, the wife, and a random lady) were riding down a street in a carriage, and the lady told the wife that she couldn't get a divorce because her husband owned the house so she would become homeless without him. In a French accent, she muttered something along the lines of "so much for freedom."

I also had a short, rather boring dream where I was in my Spanish class. The guy sitting behind me put his feet up on my desk, so I told him to move them.

Could we please stop with the car dreams already? (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Seriously, they're starting to get annoying. I haven't even driven recently. >.>

I went to school, and a random guy stopped me on the way to class and asked if I had any sharp or dangerous objects. I told him no and tried to keep walking, but I was holding my mechanical pencil in my hand and he saw it. He grabbed it from me and started shouting about how the lead was too sharp. I got annoyed at him; since when were we not allowed to bring pencils to school? He started taking out the lead, and I told him to give it back, saying that lead was expensive. I tried to take the pencil back, but I couldn't get it until he had gotten out all the lead. I ran to class. When I got to the room, people were there, but they weren't my classmates. I realized that today was Sunday and I'd gotten up for nothing. The people were here to take a driving test, which I had already taken.

I went back outside, and it was dark. I started looking for my lead where the guy had dropped it on the ground (which was covered in pine needles). The guy saw me and started coming toward me, so I ran to my car, got in the driver's seat, locked the doors, and rolled up the windows. The guy turned around and walked away. I was planning on waiting for my mom to come so she could drive, but as soon as the windows were rolled up, the car started to roll away. I kept either loosing track of the brakes or pressing the gas when I meant to stop. I barely avoided hitting something several times as I tried to navigate the parking lot.

Then I was on the passenger side and my mom was in the driver's seat, but I was still in control of the car (3rd person). I pulled into a parking space and stopped the car. It switched back to 1st person, and I leaned out the window, which made the car tip over and then roll upside down. My mom got mad at me, like I should have known that was going to happen. She said I should have caught the car before it could roll all the way over. It was really light, though, so we could flip it back over pretty easily.

A bunch of little kids were waiting in line to be picked up from school. Some were tied to polls with string so that they wouldn't leave until their parents came. Then I was at the beach with two of my friends. I imagined what it would be like to surf, and then I was surfing. My shoes got washed away, so I moved my other pair up the side of a grassy hill next to the sand. I didn't make it all the way to the top though, because it was really steep.

Gmail (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in a dark classroom with two other people, and we had flashlights. We had to get across the room and back. The room might have been a space ship, and there was something about a password. Then I was in another room doing surgery. I spat into a trash can, which was actually really gross. After that I went onto a computer, but it was logged on as my english teacher last semester. I decided to check my email, but when I went onto Gmail she was logged in. The log out button was in the wrong place, and when I clicked it it didn't work anyway. Eventually I decided to just quit everything, and it asked me if I wanted to save a document about some capital. The name of the capital was really long and it started with "Ri." I accidentally changed the name and forgot what it was supposed to be called.

My recall is slowly dying. =(

I'm sure it will improve! Rawr!

Oh and, you should've read your english teacher's mails :3

I thought about reading them. =P

The Flying Machine (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My expended family and I were at some sort of camp. Unfortunately I don't remember much of this, but it was in a pretty wet place (lots of canals) and the buildings we stayed in were square and brown. There was a boat (like a small motor boat) that was going out for a ride. They had to leave quickly so that they would finish the loop before it got dark.

There was a guy who had invented a flying machine, and he used it to fly up really high over some hills/mountains and then a small city. He flew all the way up to the clouds, where there were a couple of gods. Both of them wanted something from him, so they bribed him with chocolate and wine. Then we were going to go on some sort of quest on the clouds. I was Kirby, and I had to choose two abilities (there would be two of me). I said I would pick fire and ice, but instead I chose fire and supplex. I didn't like ice's aerial attack because the range on it was too short. After I picked supplex, I realized that that ability had even less long-range attacks, but I figured that fire would balance it out.

Just a Couple Fragments (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

In one, I wrote down all the reasons I hadn't remembered any dreams. The list was quite long; it took up about a page and a half. =P

In the other I was practicing languages with my friend outside my ice skating rink. We did a bunch of other stuff to, but unfortunately I don't remember any of it.

Maximization Problems (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Not sure if this is even a dream, but I remember thinking of each dream as a maximization problem, where the limits were sub-dreams and the objective function was the actual dream. I'm such a nerd. =P

I don't remember the rest of the dream, but I know it was there. I hate that feeling of having the dream be just beyond what I can remember. I also woke up with Papparazzi stuck in my head and the image of pepperoni pizza, and roses came to mind.
