Smart phone + bluetooth keyboard = great dream journal

I've always hated recording entries in a paper journal: my handwriting is painfully slow, I have to turn the lights on to see what I'm doing, and I have to try to decypher my writing in the morning. When I got my smartphone, I had hopes that I could use it as my dream journal, but I ended up even slower on the phone than on paper.

I thought about keeping a laptop nearby, but the light from the screen / whir of the fan all night just wasn't going to happen.

Then I realized I could use a bluetooth keyboard to type onto my phone. Now I can type out my dream journal entries on my phone at full speed, with my eyes closed, and email it to myself when I'm done. All the things I hate about journaling solved!

Wow! That's a great idea. I used to type them into my smartphone via the software keyboard, but it's just waaaay slower than an actual one.

Do you know about any cheap (or, affordable) ones?

This is a great idea. I had the same problem, spelling mistakes everywhere and took ages.

I got the Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 from Amazon for $40, and I've been very pleased with it. I justified the cost by telling myself that I'd use it for more than just journaling ... but I really haven't. As a bonus, it came with a separate number pad that we use with our laptop.
