No Dream Recall Makes Me Sad, What Are Some Ways To Get It Back?

      Hi guys,
Having no dream recall is making me very sad right now (Not really, just frustrating). What are some personal ways that you improved your dream recall with.

      Thanks,
      Me

Relaxing. Stress plays a big factor in dream recall, especially for me, so taking a break, even meditating before going to bed can be very useful.

You can also use mantras when going to sleep like, "I will remember my dreams" or something similar. This can even be added to a normal MILD simply by making a longer mantra

Also, when you wake up in the morning just sit there for 5-10 minutes trying to remember any dreams you may have had. Once you move you start to forget your dreams very quickly and you often won't remember them at all.

You could try taking a lucid aid of some sort. I believe apple juice is good for recall as well as bananas. Even if they don't work for you they're still healthy things to eat/drink

EDIT: Lucid aids that help recall are actually foods including various B-vitamins and amino acids. This includes things such as meats, bananas, beans, and various other plant foods. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B_vitam...itamin_sources

Alright thanks. I haven't been stressed lately, but maybe meditation will help. Its always good to calm down a bit. I do enjoy bananas () so eating one before bed may help, but it would also just be like a snack. Thanks for the feedback.

PS. Your DC is very funny. I remember when I first joined I saw your signature, but I forgot who it was. ^^.

I also found another problem. I have been getting to bed when I am pretty tired and not mildly, like it says on the dream recall section of the main site. Usually, I don't think I am tired, but I actually am, so I read until I get tired. Then, I am actually really tired, which also reduces dream recall.
