Write down any and every little detail you can remember from your dream, if that's all you can remember that's all you need to write down. |

well i just went off to do some homework and dozed off for about 10 minutes or so and before i went to sleep i was thinking about a girl who i like and i dreamed about a conversation with her? i wrote down conversation with jess in journal... is that what the use of the journal is supposed to be or am i supposed to go into detail? cause all i remember is talking to her. but any feedback on whether i coulda become lucid or not would be much appreciated. |

I have been practicing dream recall for a couple of weeks now, so i am a beginner too. When i wake up at the end of a dream, i talk into my dictaphone and try to recall EVERY detail, i mean all sensorial and emotional inputs i received during the dream (views, sounds, feelings...) My recall is usually quite messy and i fix it later when i write it down on paper. |
|
thatnk you for the input. my recall is getting better every night i remembered a 3 hour dream i had while trying to WILD last night and when i woke up to get some coke and go potty i remember the whole thing it took almost a whole page in journal so i think i am progressing. |

By the way Monk, good luck with the girl! |

haha thanx a bunch. she broke up with her bf who she been dating for 3 years for me so i think i gots a pretty good chance. i hope. |

Monk, I have become lucid during a nap before. It is possible. |
|
Not only is it possible - it is relatively easy. I have had some GREAT LDs during naps - most of them FAs. |

this p[leases me i dream alot when i nap.. and what is an FA? |

FA stands for False Awakening. Basically, you dream that you wake up, but really....you're still dreaming. They're a great way to induce lucid dreams, especially if you get into the habit of doing a reality check every time you wake up. |

I'm gonna start napping more on the weekends and try and remember my dreams. I hope I can start remembering more and more. |
|
As pj said it is easier, abd from my experiance they are more vivid. |

I think I'm like the lucid napping queen. I used to spend at least 2 hours a day taking a nap around noonish and spending the whole thing in and out of lucids. I don't have time to do that so much anymore...but when I do take a nap...I usually still get lucid everytime. |
|
oi..lucid naps annoy me! mostly becuase I dont need that much more sleep so the dream never lasts long at all. |
|
I take power naps...a lot of times I am lucid dreaming during them. |

Lucids from a 10 minute nap are most likely to he hypnagocic imagery |
