I too often do not recognize my dream signs but on the rare occasion I do. Just keep RCing man... 45 days is good. You'll recognize it soon trust me. If not you might want to move on to some other methods like the WILD. |

Credit to Puffin for this amazing work of art!
Goals: Play with RHCP live, Play with firebolts, Fly around the world in ten seconds, visit each planet, become a giraffe, find a ship underwater
And then sometimes you realise you are dreaming after something so trivial ! |

I can see how focusing on only one ds and keeping it in the forefront of the mind may increase the amount of times you dream this thing. Could the dream sign possibly be so regular that you remember seeing it but deem it as nothing special? Try tricking your mind by linking a question you would not seriously be concerned with in waking life to your dream sign. Finger counting works in my mind because I only really care about having an accurate finger count while dreaming. When I'm awake I know how many fingers I have, so to count them would be unnecessary task. If I just counted my fingers every day I may begin just counting my fingers while dreaming, in the same way that I (we) play out so much of what is in the forefront of our waking minds while dreaming. I used to think of clocks, and every now and again I see a clock in my sleep and it triggers lucidity, but at one point I did it so much it just made me accept the clock. (sorry, I know I'm wordy) |

It's about awareness. Every time you see one, think about why you're holding the rubik's cube, and how you got to where you are in the room. 45 days isn't that bad, just keep trying! |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
