When and how did you find out about lucid dreaming?

2004. It began as a Google search for "Dragonball Z energy ki" in 2002 after being a child obsessed with the series – though I laugh at now with good humor. After learning more about life energy over the following months, I was naturally led to lucid dreaming. I found DreamViews in 2005 and registered with a different account, but stopped LDing for some reason. The real world took over, unfortunately, and I couldn't seem to make time, despite how ridiculous of an excuse that was. Thankfully, I have been able to pick my dream journal back up and know that there's no turning away from something so wonderful.

How familiar do you feel about the basics of sleep and dreams?
Very familiar. The brain, sleep, and dreams have always fascinated me to the point of eagerly searching for more information. It's a never-ending learning process.

Are there any techniques which you want to master yet?
WILD! My body doesn't transition very well, so WILDs are hard for me.

What are your ultimate goals when it comes to dreaming?
The reason I seek to lucid dream is to learn more about myself and the world around me. There is so much that can be gained from dreams, and we are only at the tip of the iceberg. In regards to ability, I want to be able to become lucid in a dream whenever I would like, multiple times a night.

Any other hobbies that hold your interest?
I love staying physically active, appreciating and creating literature, music, ideas, and visual arts of all kinds. I want to write for a living, and my university major is in Advanced Rhetoric & Composition.
