Thread: Question about void meditation

Every type of meditation has some kind of effect. Some can help with implanting mantra's, others raise awareness, others help you relax, etc. So my question is: what does the void meditation help with (except for relaxing)? Or is relaxing the only purpose (not saying there would be sometjing wrong with that )?
