Thread: Songs that you could listen to forever.

There is no song I could listen to forever. I'd get sick of any one, eventually.

I have considered a thought experiment before: if I had to listen to one song for the rest of my life, which would it be? And the answer would be, whatever song exists that most resembles silence. Even if one note were played every 5 minutes, after a few days of it, even that would become annoying.

Being a musician myself, I'd pick all of the ones stuck in my head.

So, pretty much, the most popular songs from each of these artists are your favorites?

I would call very few of them the artist most popular. Time isn't nearly as popular as say comfortably numb, or the wall, mr roboto and renegade are far more popular than suite madame blue. same with sweet home alabama and freebird...

But could it be that they are extremely popular because they are so awesome?

Historically, unless you were to actually go out and buy the album, most people would only hear the singles on the radio.

That's funny, I heard this song at work today. Had no idea who it was or which song it was. I jammed tho. Better than the other BS they play there.

I could listen to Tool and Modest Mouse forever and ever and ever. If I had to choose, it would be Modest Mouse, just because.

I could loop pink floyd forever.. matter of fact thats exactly what im doing.

But.. i can't stop smiling listening to this
