What video game releases are you looking forward to?

There has been lots of recent announcements and video game news since E3 2012. Besides there being a clutter of gaming news and such. What games are you looking forward to?

Personally I am looking for to Borderlands 2-Which I have to pre-order again from gamestop today because I am moving locations and there is a better location I can go to.

Halo 4-Which I am ordering from bestbuy today-which I don't normally do but I have a whopping 45 dollar certificate that I been waiting to use.

I know there are others that I'd like to perhaps pre-order or buy after release dates such as
Assassins Creed III
and
Black Ops II
But I'm really just interested in Borderlands 2 and Halo 4.

I only buy my games for my Xbox 360 and so the games I mentioned are mainly for this platform or PS3. But, if there are any other games you are looking are looking forward I'd love to hear.

If I was a video game, I'd be looking forward to me. But alas, I am not, so I can't.
So here's my list:
Halo 4
Assassins Creed 3
Watch Dogs
The last of Us.

I would put Metal Gear Rising on this list, but the more info given, the less I like it.

I remember reading about The Last of Us in my game informer magazine months ago. I might give it a try because I do have a ps3 but I don't own any games for it anymore, I mostly play Xbox. I do think it looks really dang good though.

Oh I forgot to mention Grand Theft Auto V, I don't know much about this release but It is on my list for future purchases but only if the release date isn't in like over a year.

I've just seen pictures and looked at brief info of Metal Gear Rising, to me just from that it kinda looks sloppy, but I really can't judge by much.

Awww, I was forgetting Grand Theft Auto V too! And yeah, Metal Gear Rising, back when I heard it's name, waaaaaaaay back when it was first announced, I was like "yay! another Metal Gear" but now it looks not good.

I'm trying to remain neutral on that one. I'm excited for Leon being in it though!

I didn't like 5 very much, but I won't judge a book by its cover for 6. I just don't think I'd really want to buy that one right away until it gets some player reviews.

Plus if a sequel to something like red dead redemption.
I like also fps action and point and click
but i think that the future of video games are the open world ones.
Nothing is better than th feeling of endurance in a game.

Heres my list in order even though I'm psyched up for all of them.

Elder Scrolls Online.
Resident Evil 6
Halo 4
Borderlands 2
oh and the DLC for Skyrim to tide me over.

Don't hope for skyrim online.
Engine of bethesda rpg's is not made for online demands on connection speed are huge.
They discuss the same thing from morrowind.
Halo 4 on the other hand.....

Elder Scrolls Online has already been announced, its a completely separate game from Skyrim. They've been working on it for years, and it Spans all the continents from the previous games and more that we haven't seen, ten overall. All the PVP takes place in Cyrodil and they said up to 200 people per battle so far. Oh and its for PC and Mac, so yeah I don't have to hope, I just have to wait.

Halo 4, mostly. I am a huge MW2 fan, and MW3 was okay, but I'm not liking the direction they're taking Black Ops II.

Look the engine that is used is the same from morrowind.
Brilliant engine far better from anything till today.
The problem is that this engine is a closed circuit.In less words works perfect solid as it is.
Bethesda was obligated since fallout 3 to make a franchise online thing that bethesda never really wanted.
Infact the game that supposed to be online was fallout but bethesda delayed and denied it.
So two things are gonna happen.

The first is the case of a game on a different development which propably gonna dissapoint as bethesda try to slip.
The second is that they gonna make a miracle again.in that case is gonna make warcraft to look primitive.

I didn't know that they are still using the same engine, Not really sure how you know, or if I believe it, just because ALOT has changed in their style and games since Morrowind, I always Kind of felt that the Fallouts were tests for the Elder Scrolls Series, but thats just because I like ES more, even though I loved the Fallout Games too. Also I remember when Skyrim was about to come our, I read an article on G4 about how they were gonna be using a different engine from Oblivion, and that it was a decision they made, because they were either gonna make a different engine for the 360 or they were just gonna wait for the next gen of consoles.

Anyways its not Bethesda that is responsible for ESO its ZeniMax, and Yeah I know there related companies, but its still a different company, and I expect a slightly different approach, but I'm still really looking forward to it.

The base of the engine is the same.
Developed better through time.
Like the unreal engine.
Zenimax created together with obsidian and bethesda that engine in the first place.
Elements like bink video were added later.
I've seen the review.
And i think is difficult to use the same engine.
Still the gameplay should be good.

Borderlands 2 definitely. Also looking forward to getting Diablo 3 and The Old Republic once I get my new PC. Far Cry 3 is looking pretty amazing too.

If there's any sort of demo for D3 available I recommend you try that first. I was a big fan of D2 for a while there, but D3 just wasn't what I was expecting.

Well I've never actually played any Diablo before (shocking I know) so I have no expectations really. What was it in D3 that let you down?

I'm mostly looking forward to Beyond: 2 Souls and The Last of Us. Sleeping Dogs and Watch Dogs (2 different games) also look interesting. I was hoping to hear something new about Grand Theft Auto 5 but sadly, nothing new since it has been announced around 6 months ago.

It appears that Dead Space 3 is jumping on the co-op bandwagon. I can't say whether this will be good or bad, but what I like about the first 2 games is that you were by yourself, alone in the dark... with no one to save you. We'll just have to see how this plays out.

Games that I am sort of disappointed in, but look forward to anyway are Metal Gear Rising and Resident Evil 6. The director of RE6 said there's no money in survival horror and needs to compete more with shooting titles. Also, I never really cared for Rising because it never really seemed like a Metal Gear game, but I know some of the fans have been dieing to play as Raiden. The project has been scrapped and is now being made by another company which now looks worse imo.
