Thread: Best free iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch apps and games

I personally like Pocket Frogs and Tiny Tower games! But the best is Alchemy, Words With Friends and Chess With Friends. As for productivity, DropBox (2GB free online storage you can access from your phone), and reQall (a task manager) are the best.

I like breakout, but I've only tried angry birds which is ok, but not great.

There's no good free one imo. It's hard to find a good paid one lol, GTA 3 is my best so far.

Downloads- a browser that allow you to download any files off the internet, and it's easily transferable to the pc via itunes. It also can make websites think you're not on a mobile phone. Oh and it also stores songs you download off of other sites and plays them for you.

Action Movie-movie app that lets you film a five second clip with pretty cool VFX inserted in them. There are about three different scenes, and then you have to by the others =/

Picup- App for taking your photos straight to imagur. It also stores your links to those pictures so you can delete them in the future if wanted to.

Dragon Go!- Don't have Seri? Well this app is the closest thing you're going to get to it.

Videditorfree- Name says it all....good way to cut and put together video clips...also lets you upload them to youtube. Pretty good app if you don't have anything else to upload with.

Yeah dropbox is great, most useful app I have.

Guardian Eyewitness - a great photo every day related in some way to world news

Hubble 100 - best hubble images

Beatwave - awesome little musical instrument, based on a Tenori-on

Soundrop - fun music game

Storm Sim - make your own storm, and use it as an alarm.

Plane Finder - track commercial planes

Orbit1 - really fun and simple multiplayer game

Flight control - best ipad game by far, worth upgrading to the full version

Also have to add the best paid app ever; StarWalk is awesome, gives you a map of the stars which you can overlay onto your camera view with augmented reality.

Meh once you get over the first few days of ZOMG IPOD!!11, you realize you can't play anything but shit games lol.

That said, the best paid ones imo are GTA 3, Cut the rope, Wheres my water, Street fighter and Beat Hazard (decent little asteroid shooter that uses your itunes music with good firework-like visuals)

I knew games would be shit. It's never gonna be great when you have to cover half the screen with your fingers because there's no physical buttons.
Plus the gyroscope for gaming???? What a retarded concept. Now not only is half the screen covered with thumbs, but you're also tilting it away from you.
Completely useless for most games. Only a very select few would work well at all.

o man ive just downloaded Jenga, its free, I feel like a little kid again
