Racoon (Dutch band), Guus Meeuwis (Dutch artist), Paul de Leeuw (Dutch Artist), Michael Buble, Lionel Richie, Coldplay and ABBA.

And that's pretty much it... It's what I can think of anyways. There's probably more, but that's for another time.

Now, I'm looking for a a very happy-go-lucky artist or band, making (mostly) happy music (duh), music that just brings a smile to your face when you listen to it. I haven't found any yet, though. No metal or anything too-loud like that, please.

Oh! And I've been in romantic moods lately, so some romance-songs-focussing bands or artists would be great too!

      Ooooh. Thanks, man!

The moment I put on the music for a found harmonica by Penguin Cafe Orchestra (even the name made me snicker) I was like 'wtf'. But then the hopping melody came in and I had to keep myself from jumping out of my chair. I'm still smiling as I write this.

So here's a thumb for you (treasure this moment, as it is a rare occurence):

      -CD

Lucky. Sadly, I don't have time nowadays (military college) to do anything and when I did have time, my rents wouldn't allow me to go to concerts I wanted to see, unless it was something they liked. :/ They thought my music was devil musik.

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

I've never listened to Naked City but I'm looking them up right now. But Zorn and Frisell together! How could that not be good.

I've always been a real big Bass Desires fan. I'm hoping to play in a jazz combo at school with 2 guitars, bass and drums and try and play some covers. I really wanna play Samuri Hee-Haw.

EDIT:HOLY SHIT! Naked City is fucking awesome.

Damn right Naked City is awesome. My favourite band. I'm listening to them right now. I highly recommending grabbing the complete studio recordings off of the tzadik website. I've never come across another band where I literally can't separate any of their albums. And they're all so different, which makes it even more amazing. They all are as good as each other. Zorn is a genius, and every musician in that band does an amazing job.
