But we've seen bullets literally "pop out" of Claire's body.

But as you may recall, it was Claire who pulled the shard out of Peter's brain! So she knew all along that injuries to the brain weren't serious.

In any case, I love Heroes so much it's ridiculous. I never said it was a plot hole, just a bit inconsistent... but I am more than willing to forgive.

      Hmmm. Both good points.

Maybe, being a teenager, she just has a bit of a problem with walking up to someone busting a cap in the back of their head.

      Lol.

Lost sapped my will to live. In fact, it sapped my will to exist, dead or alive. I'd have rather collapsed into a singularity of nothingness than endure that show for anything longer than one pretentious hour (first episode). I decided straight away that I was not going to watch this and I have no idea what is going on in the minds of those who stick with such a programme.

      Heroes I'm fond of though.

EDIT: I also see that this post is becoming a Heroes discussion thread. Although I prefer this to a Pretentious Shite LOST discussion thread a Heroes thread already exists.

I do not, I think we need one more heroes thread to have a complete set.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I'd say Lost, but as of yet I haven't gotten into Heroes. I intend to, though, and soon.

Do we think Heroes will get old like Lost did? I'll admit the last Lost season wasn't anywhere near the standard of the first two.

People don't just prefer Heroes because it's the newer one?

I haven't seen more than one or two episodes of Lost but I think that most series get old. Very few have the discipline to quit while still on top.

The lure of more money is just too much. Most film series are like that in fact. Let's hope that Heroes have already decided on a limit... 3 seasons, maybe 5, and then a BIG DRAMATIC conclusion, and end it

Urgh, Pirates of the Caribean 3 was terrible... they really didn't know when to stop

I prefer Heroes because you actually see some cool powers and get answers. Lost is more "mysterious" which gets dragged on for ages and gets boring.

If you watch that episode again, the brain couldn't repair because it had the glass in there, when she removed it, his body was able to regenerate. Just like when that guy raped her, she fell and died. But when the branch was removed from her head, she regenerated and lived.

So the point is with a bullet in your head you will die, unless it comes out the other side, in which case he would still live...

With a bullet in your head, like you said all you have to do is take it out and that's that. And Peter at the time was surrounded by people who would be more than willing to remove that bullet for him.

I like O's point though. I suppose me being Russian and all, I'm more ready to shoot people in the head.

But the point is, he didn't want them to take it out. He was willing to die to save new york, because he thought he was going to explode and kill millions, so said to Clare to kill him, so he would save everyone else.

Yeah but shooting him would stop him from exploding, so what would be stopping people from removing the bullet once that's done? You're assuming that he would rather die now than get shot, recover, and spend time learning to control that ability. After all, he could just get shot AGAIN if he ever lost control a second time.
