Define your musical taste.

Soundgarden - Pretty Noose The song that really got me into Soundgarden.
Pantera - Revolution Is My Name Could have picked many Pantera songs, but the video for this one put it over the competition.
Weezer - In The Garage This is like a geek anthem.
Alice In Chains - Junkhead One of the best AIC songs, great vocals, so heavy, so good.
Cream - SWLABR Awesome example of what makes Cream so great. And I love the guitar tone.
Mastodon - Blood And Thunder mhm
Oasis - Where Did It All Go Wrong? Love Noel's voice.
Primus - Lacquer Head I would call Primus truly unique, and they've carved out their own niche doing their own thing, that and they kick ass.
Sublime - Santeria Such a relaxing song, about killing a Mexican dude named Sancho.
Tool - The Pot Not my favorite Tool song, but it's up there, and the vocals are just so good.

I might have chosen other songs, but these came to my head first, and it's a decent sampling of what I listen to on a regular basis (as far as one can get with ten songs).

The worst thing that can happen to a good cause is, not to be skillfully attacked, but to be ineptly defended. - Frédéric Bastiat

That's actually a medley of material from Fredrik Thordendal's solo project - Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects. The album (the only one he's released so far) is called "Sol Niger Within". I highly recommend you check it out. Crazy stuff.

Nice list, btw

Define: Musical taste: Wtf

1. Team Rose - Follow Me I like this one, kinda cute.

2. Stepping Wind It's the music for the level "The Mira Mira Mountains" in Klonoa 2: Lunateas Veil. This one just shouts out ^_^ all the way through

3. This Broken Soul apperantly from one of the newer Spyro games.. *shrug*

4. A Pirates Life For Me Just win

5. Utada Hikaru - Passion

6. Rammstein - Keine Lust Need to have one from these guys too.

7. Weird Al Yankovic - It's All About The Pentiums

8. Denis Leary - Asshole

9. Still Alive From Portal [SPOILERALERT!]

10. La Métamorphose De Mister Chat One of my favorite songs, not sure why, I don't speak french either. I can sing it (not like it will sound good), and I can probably type out the lyrics, but I'm not sure what's sung about xP Something about a witch turning somebody into a cat.

Actually, I would have put alot of tunes up, which is to say, music without lyrics, there are alot of those I like. Like Kingsleys Adventure Theme #_#

I am doing songs that are probably not known by anybody here, and they are all varied in style (exception is the first 2 because I love eve 6/eleventeen) But they represant my musical tastes very well I can assure you.

I didn't put them in any particuler order.

1. Eve 6 - On the roof again - really good lyrics, and rythum.

2. Eleventeen - Nocturnal Emission - a song that is clearly about WILDing even though it probably wasn't the artist's intention.

3. The Birthday Massacre - Kill the Lights -Just a really deep song that sounds like it's about dreams.

4. Billy Talent - Try Honesty - A really expressive song to me, I can't really relate to it so much, but dang is it an awesome rythum.

5. Linkin Park - Step Up - An old linkin park song that just pwns modern hiphop artists on the radio today (literally thats the subject).

6. Vertical Horizon - Finding Me - Probably the greatest of the vertical horizon songs I listen to (they almost all sound the same) but it's very good.

7. Hoobastank - Crawling In The Dark - A really good song, that just about anyone can relate to it.

8. Múm - Green Grass Of Tunnel - A very relaxing song to listen to, can make you quite happy and satisfied when listening to it.

9. Him - Vampire Heart - A very romantic/fantasy type song, kind of emo, but who cares when H.I.M. does emo it is no longer depressing.

10. My Chemical Romance - The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You - another really good example of the type of song I like, very good intrumental and vocals

ok I'm not going to post 10 songs, but here's my last one

funeral by Devin Townsend it's pretty long, but if you can really get into, it's absolutely amazing. Just so you know, the intro itself is nearly 3 minutes... i think... maybe 2... but it's so cool, because it's calming, but intense at the same time. I'm not sure how many other people would agree, but i think devin townsend can be complete genious at times. enough of my rant. here it is
