Personally I like to look at games in and of themselves over the negative or positive connotation that a console has. |
Hmm... |

Super Nintendo or PS2 can't decide.. They are both great systems with plenty of variety. From the next gen systems I'd have to say Wii just because it's a fun console to pick up, play, and then walk away. I love video games, but now that I'm older and have tons of obligations I can't play for hours on end like I used to. |
My old Sega Mega Drive kicks the ass of your "modern" anti-cartridge wannabe-consoles. |
- Are you an idiot?
- No sir, I'm a dreamer.
No love for N64? Some of my most cherished video game memories took place on that system. Banjo Kazooie, Mario 64, Jet Force Gemini, BattleZone, Banjo Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Harvest Moon 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, the list goes on an on. |

I like the Xbox 360 right now and for shooters it does better than the PS3 control-wise. |
Any of the PS's, PS1, 2, 3. |

OMG, that is my favourite game of all time. I never made it past the ice level though I don't know anyone who actually finished that game, it was probably the hardest game ever made. |
I bought a 360 because i couldnt be arsed to wait for a ps3,now i want a ps3 D: Dam you ms hurry up and send my fixed xbox back. |
Fable 2 is amazing, so have a ball without it. Gears Of War is another pretty good game. |
How so? They're nearly identical controller wise, just the PS3's are a lot less bulky. |

word dawg. The joysticks are further apart on the 360 and at opposite sides, its surprisingly useful. You will see one day. All you got to do is A/B COD between the two systems and you will see what I am talking about. But PS3 controllers I find much more useful for platforming games unless it reacquires you to use the FPS angle too often |

I play 360 at my some of my buds houses, and I really don't notice the difference to the controllers. The 360's buttons confuse me a little more, but that's just because I'm not used to them. They're both honestly great systems, I just like the exclusives that come on PS3, and the variety of other things I can do it on like web-browsing, downloading movies and TV shows, media sharing, music, and free online. I do wish I had a 360 to play Fable 2 though, but my friends going to loan me his when he beats it anyway. |
On overall fun, I'd have to put N64 at the top. I played Goldeneye, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Bomberman 64, Perfect Dark, Super Smash Brothers, and Blast Corps endlessly with friends or by myself. As for my favorite console in terms of my favorite games, I'd choose ps1. Xenogears, FF7, FF9, and Chrono Cross will always have a special place in my heart. |
My Xbox 360 and Nintendo 64 is tied for me. The Xbox has great graphics and really fun rpg (enchanted arms), and first person shooters (halo 3) games, but the addiction factor on Nintendo games was through the roof, as was how memorable they were. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
