Just skimmed through it and it seems rather cool.

Challenging Xbox, Ps3, Wii seems really brave considering how big they already are, it could backfire.

Just read an article on this today. Sounds interesting and fairly promising. But I dunno, for some reason I find myself a little skeptical. Reminds me a lot of that oldschool "Sega Channel" they used to have.

I'd have to see the monthly subspription rates, and that on top of super-fast-amazing-internet-connection, well, might be too much in the long run. I mean, you only have to pay for a Wii or PS3 only once,

(Never really liked the Xbox Live subscription eitherl after a while you end up paying more than you did for the console.)

Very interesting. I can see something like this getting big in the future when we all have awesome connections. It isn't going to make consoles go obsolete any time soon though seeing as that isn't true. I do have a pretty good connection, I might have to give this a test drive. The beauty of a console is that you don't need an internet connection at all to play them.

The big 3 will see this, they will accommodate for it.

From what I understand this system is not like steam at all. The games are actually run on OnLive's servers, then it streams the "screen" of the game to your computer. So basically you just need a fast internet connection and a computer fast enough to watch video. Which means I guess you could play Crysis on your Pentium III.

It will be fascinating to see how this works out. It's a very interesting idea.

Yeah, I just read about this a couple days ago: I'm intrigued to see how it turns out. If it works, that'd be great- I have a good internet connection but not the best computer. Do you have to install the games in any way?

This will never work, it's just not possible with today's technology,

~1ms latency time my ass, I can't even get that with my own router.

Unless they use TACHYONS to do this, it won't work.

Well they've already built, tested, and ran it so it does work

That's what they want you to think. Plus, they tested it on LAN, only 50 miles away. There's no way to prove it's real, it's probably a scam to get investors.

I read about this in game informer that other day.

I have my skepticisms as to whether this console is actually going to be a reality. it's too innovative to be considered safe, especially in this economy...
