Indiana Jones. Not great, but not as bad as everyone said it was.

      ^ Nice. ^

Before I watched Indy, I watched Moliere. The French film. Pretty entertaining.
      Bollocks.

Lol. Erin. The next time you post a movie you saw and don't at least write 3 words telling us what you thought of the movie, I'm going to slap you.

I watched Indiana Jones last night. I thought it was pretty good, but it got quite weird.

Weeds Season One: I really like this show, it's funny and has some pretty sharp writing... working on Season Two now.

Indiana Jones for my brother's birthday. I liked it. I think it was definitely worthy of the Indiana Jones movies. The one thing that I hate in movies like these and National Treasure is that the protagonists are really smart and have lots of knowledge and can figure out all these crazy puzzles, but then the antagonist always follows them or catches up quickly or is even there waiting for them, when they didn't get the same clues and couldn't figure that out. It seems like no matter how smart they are, they can never get ahead. It kind of seems pointless to be able to figure all that out if you can just pay someone to do it.

What I really want to see is Hancock. If I had powers like him, I'd probably behave exactly like him.

If you think about it, though, it's quite realistic. You do feel bad for the characters who overcome obstacles and use their wits and intellect to figure out the puzzles/riddles in order to reach the prize, but then someone comes along and runs along the path they've already tread and (try to) take the glory. It's like real life: someone actually studies very hard for a test or works for hours upon hours upon a project, and someone comes along and copies them and does just as well or even better.

I agree with what a friend of mine said about this new movie. It somewhat lacked that "learning" element that was present in the first three that made you seriously consider becoming an archaeologist. You finish "The Last Crusade" and think "I wonder what's waiting under my own library..."

I agree with Ame, the only thing I don't like about those movies are the feats of impossible engineering that ancient civilizations were able to do.

Yeah, I forgot about that part. I mean, using stones? When you life this rock, this other rock waaaaaaay over here moves and then collapses. I find it hard to believe that it was connected somehow by a long, thin stone or piece of metal that ran under the ground. And that they set it up to collapse once it is activated. They'd have to get it right the first time because they would have to rebuild it from scratch each time they tested it and there would be no way to know if it would work after each build without testing it.

I was going to say Ironman (which was AWESOME), but I just remembered that I saw Bagger Vance last night. It's actually a pretty good movie, despite the fact that it's about golf. (Ironman was still better)

I just saw Radio on TV. It was a fantastic movie and I loved it. It was a sports movie, but different than any other. It was the first movie in a very long time to make me cry, but it also made me very happy too. I recommend it highly to everyone, sports fan or not.

Radio, Click and The Green Mile, the only three movies that have made me full out cry.
I've gotten sniffles and little tears at the corners of my eyes and shit to others, but I bawled during those three.

hehe, even if you have no awareness of those guys, would you expect a move called "Knocked Up" to be a pretty Hollywood romance?

With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

      Across the Universe.

Needless to say, put me back into my 'Beatles' phase. So much so in fact that I went and learned how to play 'Yesterday' in a couple hours.

My girlfriend was in the mood for an action movie, so, after reading about Equilibrium on here and IMDB, I rented it and watched it. I love it.
