omg my sister put on the new film last night. From what I surmised from watching on and off it was the most pointless, boring, constantly grey and depressing film I'd ever seen.

And as Naiya says, the guy is a fucking creep. Why are teenage girls looking up to this kind of relationship which is explicitly about obsessive behaviour over physical attractiveness?

Too many Twilight fan girls these days. If you say something about Edward like he got Bella pregnant or what ever. They will get mad its unreal. You see allot of fan girls saying they are going to be Mrs. Edward Cullen, etc etc. When I was in Government class. All I heard was Twilight this and Twilight that. It was annoying. Oh and I have a question. Since when did Vampires *sparkle*? I thought Vampires blow up when they get in the sun light. And where are the Vampire Hunters in this movie? Every Vampire Movie has to have a Vampire Hunter. I think The Hulk can Smash this pretty guys poser head into the dust if Hulk was in that movie. Girls drool over him too much. They think they are going to marry a fictional character. It's crazy.

You get allot of Twilight fans posing off as wannabe vampires now a days. Its unreal. I've over heard some girls saying they are part vampire. Its insane.

It was clear to me that Twilight is Stephanie Meyer's sexual fantasy. About her writing skill, Stephen King said it better than me lol.

I don't really know why people get SO upset about it. I haven't read one book of this series, but I saw the first movie and it was complete trash so I never bothered giving it another thought. I'm not going to judge people who DO like Twilight though. To each his own, right?

yes, absolutely. I couldn't care less.

But some of that stuff seemed to be exceeding the typical fan-behaviour.
It's also possible that youtube just represents the collective unconscious
of the crazies and reality is a lot different. But what the heck, obsession
can be fun, right?

This really confuses me. How can *WE* be jealous of Edward Cullen? Why do fan girls think were jealous of his looks and shit? I just want to see if they can prove that were jealous. I'm not holding a emotional grudge against him. I just think he sucks.

I don't go out of my way to show my displeasure of it. Whenever the subject some up, all I say is that Vamps shouldn't glitter and that I couldn't get past the 2nd page. It just doesn't tickle my fancy.

What DOES tickle my fancy is a little-known Vampire series called the Void City Series. I'd recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. (3rd book is out this summer!! )
