Throughout my life, I've aquired wisdom that most people apparently haven't. I think it's likely that almost everyone here will be able to relate. It sometimes takes years before I happen to stumble upon a thought, or a bad experience before I have a realization, or careful philosophising before I logically deduce a surprising truth.
Mention any number of pieces of 'wisdom' that you've acquired, realizations you've had about the way to live, the way to think, etc. along with why you think it's true. I would personally love to hear these things from others, as my own understanding might be broadened if I see their point. Please refrain from cliche phrases, like "It's better to teach a man to fish ..." I'm not looking for clever sounding, cryptic quotes or paradoxes that sound like they've come from a Bhuddist monk. I'm looking for practical information, truths about the world that you think most people haven't considered.
