Only thing more disgusting than the president illegally murdering US citizens without a trial, then bragging about it, is US citizens who applaud him and say we need more illegal murders against US citizens. Sadly there seems to be a lot of people who thinks this is a good thing.

I completely understand the hypocrisy in a general sense but you have to realize we're still in a dangerous world where nations must protect themselves. Whether that's true or not, nations make it true by holding that attitude to each other, and the world is not ready to hold hands yet.

That being said, if we cannot draw a line between our values and the enemy's, then we stand for nothing. A nation stands only for the values it holds sacred. If we do not stand for equal rights of at least our own citizenry, then we have already lost this war by becoming our enemies.
