I have nothing to say but.... legalise all drugs. And end this BS forever. |
|
Or how about what's the fucking deal with arrest quotas anyway? |
|
It's no surprise that cops fake things to meet quotas. With the hundreds of false arrests going on during the protest, the entire political system of New York will start going into chaos. The Mayor's approval rating has dropped from near 70% approval, to about 20%, the next election will replace huge chucks of the local government. There are wide calls for investigations of high ranking NYPD. The media is digging, and will most likely expose more and more corruption. It's a good thing. The ACLU and NYCLU are both sending people into the protests with cameras and building legal teams to protect the falsely arrested. I think the NYPD is on the brink of sweeping changes to deal with things like this. |

> Repeatedly complain about the terrible injustices of the USA |

I don't follow. It seems to me that you are criticizing the American People for either A) Complaining about the injustices of the USA, or B) Not Leaving. Is that really what you propose the population, here, do? Either STFU or leave the country. Really? Or am I misinterpreting? |

I agree with O. Are we not supposed to talk bad about the government, because, correct me if I'm wrong, but if we didn't question the government, wouldn't we be british? |
|
Yes, isn't it amazing when you want to refuse to listen to government you are told that you can leave the country but when you complain about government, people get up in arms over others telling them the same thing? |

'What is war?...In a short sentence it may be summed up to be the combination and concentration of all the horrors, atrocities, crimes, and sufferings of which human nature on this globe is capable' - John Bright
hehe. In Australia, they've had to pretty much press restart on the entire police force like 5 times in at least 2 states that I know of, because the corruption was just so widespread. |

The government created the banks and the government arrests people. I know it's emotionally painful for you to accept, but the government is the source of all the problems. The reason it's painful for you to accept is that you see the government through the lens of your own painful childhood. Since you're on the left wing, you must have had an overbearing mother that didn't give you very much freedom as a small child. Now your subconscious sees the government as the 'mother'. |
|
I never said I the government wasn't the problem, the government deregulated the banks, I know that's the problem, I've said it a bunch of times; but the bank called the police, the bank locked the doors. The government didn't create the banks: Marcus Goldman created Goldman Sachs, Citi Bank was created by Moses Taylor. The only bank to be created by the government is Chase. So liberals have overbearing mothers huh? What about liberals who's mothers died when they were young? |

It's not nonsense if it's true. I mean, did you think people started believing in the state because it was reasoned out to them, even if the reasoning was flawed in some way? No. 7 year olds believe in the state. Even 5 year olds probably believe in the state. This is not a reasoned position, therefore it must have emotional roots. |

I'm confused. So people who think that the government shouldn't be deregulating the banks because it allows them to create massive bubbles, which eventually burst and trash the economy, which has been seen a number of times to varying degrees. Then getting pissed off that the government gave them billions for a bailout, most of which went into the accounts of the share holders instead helping ease the struggling market. Seeing the CEOs who embezzled, allowed the economic meltdown not only get off scott free, but actually get even richer off of the problem, then getting upset about it. All those people we can safely assume had sad childhoods? Just stop dude, if you continue with this delusion, no one will ever take you seriously again. |
