It's not funny, man. They're gonna break the waists and crack the windpipes of all their enemies. |

What's Lil Kim got to do with North Korea? I haven't been following since Ambassador Rodman. |

lil' 30 year old Kim Jung Un. |

*sigh*...It seems there will never be an end of politicians harping about invading one country or another. I suppose the fact that we are already present in 5 hostile countries has no weight on senators' and reps' decisions. Ron Paul was our last hope. I'm getting my PhD and gtfo'ing. |

I agree, North Korea is a disgrace to the USA. They should be forced to secede from the union. |
|
You act like there aren't other people in Congress who are at least skeptical of pre-emptive invasions. Ron's son is sometimes promising. Justin Amash is definitely a good guy as well. And think of all the politicians who will inadvertently support nonintervention just because it was the opposite party's idea. |

The worst thing that can happen to a good cause is, not to be skillfully attacked, but to be ineptly defended. - Frédéric Bastiat
I try to deny myself any illusions or delusions, and I think that this perhaps entitles me to try and deny the same to others, at least as long as they refuse to keep their fantasies to themselves. - Christopher Hitchens

Yes. Though it might, hilariously, be true, I don't think it's likely that our government is completely evil. I think we have gotten into the habit of viewing our government as a single evil entity, or a stupidity production machine. It isn't like all of the stupid and/or evil people gathered in one place and decided to rule the country. If there is a flaw that caused an abnormal amount of corruption in our government, I think we should look at the mechanisms that define who gets into office, and the mechanisms that keep our government in check. The system isn't supposed to ALLOW our politicians to rule the country in a corrupt way. If they are doing that, then the system is broken. |

What are they going to do with them? Are they going to shoot their few nuclear bottle rockets and watch them fail right near them? We're a chihuahua owner's neighbor with enough nukes to blow up the world multiple times. How dumb is this school boy looking dipshit? A chihuahua can bite your ankle, but it knows what a bad idea it is. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
That chihuahua might not be able to do more than bite you a little, but it can rip the other animals around it to pieces. |

I wonder does Kim Jung Un get mad when he seems how he is represented on the internet. Surely he must have ego-googled at least once and seen all the pictures on google images. |

dutchraptor, you are absolutely right. Google image kim jong un and all you get are pictures of his face, and funny ass memes that make fun of him. lol |

Just a quick question: Is North Korea still being supported by other, more "dangerous" countries, like it was back in the 50's, or is it acting completely on its own? |
|
North Korea is being supported by China to an extent. Although I highly doubt China would aid them in a time of war, right now they're just profiting from all the tension between the US , north Korea and south Korea. China trades a lot with North Korea, and since North Korea started going on the offense they've being trading like mad with China. I don't think China has much concern for the country itself, it's probably just a move to earn some more money from this whole ordeal. I don't think there is any country that would be truly idiotic enough to pair up North Korea right now, then again I don't know that much about world affairs. |
|
Yeah there does not, to my knowledge or reason, exist an alliance between China and North Korea. |
|
Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
I think if there is any country other than North Korea that would be willing to start a nuclear war, it would be Iran. Every sane nation in the world would be desperate to avoid such a thing. |
|
Unfortunately, North Korea can't be labelled sane. I think the real threat they pose is the potential they have to wreak some serious havoc, with the fourth biggest army in the world, countless people who will willingly go into war for Kim Jon Un and a hell of a lot of weapons. In cases like these you really cant predict for sure what will happen. I'm surprised the country has managed to keep itself so isolated for all this time, it's something you hear of usually only in fictional stories. |
|
I'm more worried about the actions of my government, we are still the only nation to fire a nuclear weapon on anyone. :/ |
|
I hope you find some peace of mind with the fact that it was for the purpose of ending a world war. I don't want to get into an argument about whether it was necessary. I just want to point out that it took a very extreme situation for our government to use nukes, and the extremely important purpose of using them was met, even if there was a better way. |

Experts think that North Korea are quite a long way from perfecting nuclear missiles anyway. The only people I would say that are at serious risk at this moment in time are countries quite close to North Korea geographically, such as South Korea. However, this is enough to drag the USA into it all as I believe they have an alliance with South Korea. |
