What is Deja Vu?

I just figured I'd get some members opinions on here. After a chat with wer about it, I figured I'd see what you all think. I've got no clue really. I haven't even got a guess per se. Maybe you all have some sort of intelligent guess about it? Some believe that it is spiritual in nature. Some believe that it is a precognitive sign. Some see it as a glimpse of the future. I feel that it is a cross over of the hundreds of similar, often confidential recognitions of previous events. Intertwined with the flow of the ongoing now. Thousands of similar in circumstance events that spark your memory of a past event that has the same properties of our perspective.
